IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Trinity defended her title against Deonna Purrazzo at the promotion’s recent Turning Point Event from the United Kingdom, with IMPACT Hall of Famer Gail Kim as the special guest referee.
Trinity successfully retained her championship against Purrazzo, but immediately after the match, Purrazzo would be involved in a heated exchange with Kim. Kim would end up delivering a Eat Defeat to Purrazzo.
It was then announced that Trinity will defend her IMPACT Knockouts World Title against Jordynne Grace at TNA Wrestling’s 2024 Hard To Kill PPV on Saturday, January 13th, which is the first event to take place under the TNA banner following the recent announcement of the rebranding.
Grace earned the title shot by winning the Call Your Shot Gauntlet Match at last month’s Bound for Glory PPV.
