WWE NXT Halloween Havoc Night 2 Review – October 31, 2023
Kicking off Night 2 of Halloween Havoc with Shotzi & Scarlett arriving in the Ghostbuster’s car.
New Year’s Day performs the theme song as a clip show of last week’s show plays.
Tag Team Tables Ladders & Scares Match
Creed Brothers (Julius & Brutus) vs. Angel Garza & Humberto Carrillo
Creed Brothers attack Humberto Carrillo & Angel Garza during their entrance then everyone brawls on the outside before Creed Brothers sets up a table then Julius Creed hits an Attitude Adjustment on Garza sending him through Carrillo and the table.
Back in the ring Julius goes for the cover but it’s only good for a near fall then Garza grabs a chair and stops a double team against Carrillo before Carrillo fights back and dominates Brutus Creed in the corner.
Carrillo & Garza get ladders and chairs then they sets up a ladder across a number of chairs like a table then back outside the ring and Garza & Carrillo gets hit with a ladder.
Creed Brothers continue the punishment with the ladders then Creed Brothers set up 2 tables on the outside. Garza takes out Brutus and rearranges the tables.
Garza & Carrillo double team Julius and send him off the top rope and back first onto a ladder then they hit a huge outside the ring double team putting Brutus through a table as we head to a break.
After the break Garza is dueling Julius Creed with chairs before Brutus nails Garza with his own chair before Carrillo comes off the middle rope with a springboard kick to hit the chair in Brutus’ face as Carrillo helps fight off Creed Brothers and they clear the ring.
Carrillo punishes Brutus with a chair then seats Brutus on the chair and Garza hits a huge diving dropkick on Brutus. Carrillo hits a running powerbomb on Julius into a ladder for a near fall & both teams are down before Brutus attacks Garza & Carrillo with chairs.
Brutus puts a ladder on his head and windmills around then throws the ladder at Garza & Carrillo and hits a baseball slide before Brutus eats a con chair to. Garza & Humberto torture Brutus with a ladder but Julius comes out of nowhere and takes them both out.
Another table is found before Creed Brothers sets up 2 tables in the ring then Julius sends Carrillo back in the ring.
A brawl ensues before Garza gets thrown through a table at ringside before Creed Brothers hits Doomsday Brutus Ball on Carrillo through the tables for the win.
Winners: Creed Brothers (14:03)

Backstage Shotzi dressed as Pennywise & Scarlett does a Ouija board before they are interrupted by Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn & they take over Ouija board duties.
McKenzie Mitchell interviewed Tiffany Stratton regarding Fallon Henley’s impersonation last week but Stratton storms out of the interview immediately.
Joe Gacy had a vignette backstage, where he stated that he had made a lot of mistakes since joining NXT. Gacy said that he now has no strings on him.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Fallon Henley
Tiffany Stratton attacks Fallon Henley during her entrance & Stratton attacks her knee then locks in a Figure 4 around the ring post.
Winner: No One (Match Never Got Started)
Meta 4 dressed up as the Scooby Doo Gang walks around the Haunted House to get Dar’s Heritage Cup Title but they were spooked by 2 mysterious figures.
North American Title Match
Dominik Mysterio (c) vs. Nathan Frazer
Dominik Mysterio & Nathan Frazer circle each other to start this match before they jockey for position and Mysterio has to keep things underhanded to keep Frazer at bay before Frazer uses his athleticism to get the advantage. Mysterio retreats to ringside and conferences with Rhea Ripley as we head to a break.
After the break Frazer fights out of a headlock but ends up eating 3 Amigos from Mysterio but he gets distracted on the 3rd amigo and Frazer comes back with a brainbuster then Frazer gets momentum and unleashes a flurry of strikes.
Frazer dropkicks Mysterio out of the ring before Mysterio sends Frazer back in the ring then Frazer hits a tope to the outside then back in the ring Mysterio dodges a Phoenix Splash.
Mysterio climbs the top rope but Frazer recovers with a superplex/Final Cut combo for a near fall. Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley throws Mysterio the North American Title but he misses it and Frazer rolls him up for a near fall.
Frazer counters a 619 with a superkick & both men are down then Frazer comes back but Mysterio knocks Frazer off the top rope and sends him into the announce table then back in the ring Mysterio hits a Frog Splash for the win.
Winner & Still North American Champion: Dominik Mysterio (10:26) (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)

After the match Wes Lee attacks Mysterio and poses with the North American Title.
Backstage Jacy Jayne & NXT Tag Team Champion Andre Chase are at odds over Jacy trying to cheat last week. NXT Tag Team Champion Duke Hudson & Thea Hail interrupt them. Hail & Jayne go get ready for their Women’s Tag Team Titles match as The Family are making it clear they’re coming for Chase U. Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn dressed as Poison Ivy & Harley Quinn talk about how the Women’s Tag Team Titles are cursed.
Back in the Haunted House Jakara Jackson was motivated to fight but was greeted by a zombie hand before running away. She then was greeted by a monster with no eyes before she passed out. Oro Mensah tried to look for Jackson but a child scared him before he was attacked by Akira Tozawa as Lash Legend tried to look for the Heritage Cup Title under a carpet but was scared by a monster before being pulled by a Pumpkin Monster.
Bron Breakker vs. Mr Stone
Match starts off with Bron Breakker corners Mr Stone as Stone does his best to avoid Breakker then Stone throws a punch that doesn’t faze Breakker before Stone runs around the ring and back into it but eats a shoulder tackle from Breakker.
Breakker mangles Stone’s tank top then tosses Stone around the ring as Breakker maintains dominance but gets rolls up by Stone for a near fall.
Breakker goes back to battering Stone then hits a Spear to get the victory.
Winner: Bron Breakker (2:38)

After the match Breakker tried to toss the stairs on Stone’s head but Von Wagner made his return to make the save. Wagner hits a Chokeslam on Breakker in the stairs and tried to squash Breakker with the stairs but Breakker escaped. Security guards & referees separated Breakker & Wagner.
There was a video vignette recapping Lyra Valkyria winning the Women’s Title from Becky Lynch last week on Night 1.
OTM cuts a promo talking about their life struggles before calling out Brawling Brutes.
Women’s Tag Team Titles Match
Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (c) vs. Chase U (Jacy Jayne & Thea Hail)
Chase U attacks Chelsea Green & Piper Niven during their entrance then Jacy Jayne attacks Green in the ring but immediately runs out of the ring to help Thea Hail escape from Niven.
Back in the ring Green gets a near fall but is immediately getting beat up by Chase U then Hail tags in and tosses Green around the ring.
Green tries to out maneuver Hail but ends up outside the ring & gets hits with a tope from Hail then Chase U hit a huge double senton on Green on the outside as we head to a commercial break.
After the break Niven locks in a Cobra Clutch then hits a shoulder breaker before Hail comes back with a DDT and crawls for Jayne as Green tags in and stops the tag from happening. Hail dodges under and tags in Jayne.
Jacy runs over Green then hits a cannonball in the corner for a near fall then Green fights back and goes for an Unprettier but Jayne counters with a spinebuster then goes for the cover but Niven breaks it up.
Niven hits Hail with an electric chair slam as Green & Jayne trade blows before both teams Jayne recovers as she tries to get the NXT Tag Team Title from Andre Chase but he refuses to give the title before Green hits Unprettier for the win.
Winners & Still Women’s Tag Team Champions: Chelsea Green & Piper Niven (8:58) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

Backstage Lexis King was interviewed by McKenzie Mitchell where he stated that he was happy with the buzz created for him and said that everyone would wait & see what he does.
Finals Of The 2023 Women’s Breakout Tournament
Kelani Jordan vs. Lola Vice
Lola Vice starts the match with kicks before Kelani Jordan gave Vice a armdrag then Vice came back with rapid kicks then Vice gave Jordan a hip attack as we go to a break.
After the break Vice trips up Jordan then Jordan dodges a hip attack then Vice hits a front kick enzuigiri as Jordan rallied with a series of elbows. Jordan hits Vice with a flip leg drop for a two count.
Vice escapes an Overdrive then Jordan ducks a kick but Vice follows through with a thrust kick to the gut before Jordan hits Vice with a leg sweep then Jordan hits Vice with an Overdrive.
Elektra Lopez got on the apron for a distraction & this allowed Vice to dodge a split leg moonsault then Vice caught Jordan with a hook kick to the head for the win.
Winner: Lola Vice (6:56)

Back in the Haunted House Heritage Cup Champion Noam Dar finally retrieved the Heritage Cup and was happy to regain it but he was confronted by all the monsters from the Haunted House. Tozawa told Dar that he only wanted a shot at the Heritage Cup which Dar granted for next week as long as he was allowed to escape. Dar got the cup back but was attacked by the monsters.
The Unholy Union dressed as Maleficent & Ursula) were speaking backstage talking before Mr. Stone & Von Wagner appeared arguing with each other. Wagner demanded Stone to try & make a match between himself & Breakker as soon as possible.
NXT Title Match
Ilja Dragunov (c) vs. Carmelo Hayes
Carmelo Hayes charges Ilja Dragunov to start this match but Dragunov catches him then they trade blows before Dragunov hits a German suplex.
Hayes comes back with a suplex of his own then hey trade more blows before both men hit a double kick and both men are down as we head to a commercial break.
After the break Dragunov is in control of the match then both men trade forearms then Dragunov pummels Hayes and hits a series of rolling chops, an enzuigiri and a German suplex.
Dragunov keeps the suplex train running then hits a powerbomb for a near fall before Hayes comes back with a series of kicks but Dragunov hits a lariat for a near fall.
Hayes comes back with La Mistica for a near fall then Hayes climbs to the top rope but Dragunov pulls him down as they fight to the outside before Hayes hits a DDT onto the apron.
Hayes gets Dragunov back in the ring and hits a Frog Splash for a near fall as both men fight to their feet Dragunov is reenergized and pummels Hayes before Dragunov takes him down and hits a senton.
Dragunov hits a slam for a near fall before Dragunov counters a suplex and hits a chop to the back of the head. Hayes comes back with a kick before Dragunov fights back with a Death Valley Driver on the outside.
Dragunov clears off the announce table then hits H Bomb off the barricade and through the announce table then back in to the ring and Dragunov tries for Coast 2 Coast but fails then they trade counters. Hayes hits Codebreaker before Dragunov hits H Bomb for a near fall.
Hayes counters a top rope H Bomb with a Codebreaker then Hayes climbs to the top rope as Trick Williams’s music plays. Williams comes to ringside distracting Hayes. Dragunov recovers and hits a superplex then hits Torpedo Moscow to get the win.
Winner & Still NXT Champion: Ilja Dragunov (16:42) (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)

After the match Trick Williams met with Carmelo Hayes in the ring as Williams & Hayes had a staredown Baron Corbin attacks Ilja Dragunov to close out Night 2.
