The 2024 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE will take place in February at Perth’s Optus Stadium. During a 7NewsAdelaide broadcast, it was stated that Rhea “will headline the WWE’s first main event in Australia since 2018 in front of 60,000 fans in Perth.”
According to Nick Hausman of HausOfWrestling.com, the Rhea could be in the main event of Elimination Chamber.
Hausman stated, Haus of Wrestling spoke to a WWE source about the speculation who stated that ‘Rhea Ripley will be on the show, and creative will dictate the match and match position.’ They also added that this is a case of ‘local news doing what they do, but all good.’ This seems to be a similar situation to The Western Australia reporting last month that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson could wrestle at the event. A senior member of WWE PR subsequently told Haus of Wrestling that that was a case of ‘tabloids being tabloids.’
Ripley is reportedly receiving praise for the amount of promotion she has done for the event.
