John Cena may be staying with WWE for a longer period of time than he expected.
Cena returned to SmackDown on September 1st, where he did a segment with Jimmy Uso, which kicked off his WWE run, as he has worked every SmackDown show since then.
He’s booked through Crown Jewel on November 4, where he’s expected to face Solo Sikoa after laying out the young prospect on Friday’s SmackDown.
Cena and LA Knight defeated Sikoa, and Jimmy Uso competed earlier this month at the WWE Fastlane 2023 premium live event. During the post-event press conference, he stated that if the writers and actors strike in Hollywood ended, he would end his WWE run early.
He could only return for a long run because of the strikes in the first place. The actors’ strike is still ongoing, leading to speculation that Cena may stay longer than he planned.
Cena shared this photo on Instagram from a scene in “Wolf of Wall Street” in which Jordan Belfort told his firm that he was staying with the company, sparking speculation that Cena will be working more WWE dates.
