All Elite Wrestling held their WrestleDream PPV event this past Sunday from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington, with NJPW Strong Openweight Champion and ROH World Champion Eddie Kingston defending both his titles against ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata in one of the show’s featured matchups.
Shibata took part in the WrestleDream media scrum and talked about a number of topics including how he is ready to make a commitment to AEW if Tony Khan wished. The AEW President then responded that he wants Shibata to stay with the company forever.
Shibata said, “If Tony wished, I am ready to make a commitment.”
Khan responded, “I want you to stay forever, you’re my favorite.”
