WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash recently took to an episode of his Kliq This podcast, where he talked about a number of topics including his rapid WWE push in 1995.
Nash said, โMy thing is this, I went from fโing Oz to having the IC, Tag, and World Title in three years.โ โEven though I was the lowest-drawing champion of all time or whatever people want to say about me, I still am the longest-reigning champion in the 1990s which [includes] the Attitude Era. I just happened to be the president during the depression.โ โI wouldnโt change it. The reason I got everything I did โฆ after the drug trials โฆ I read someone say โYouโre a good-looking giant dude โ thatโs why you got to where you got.โ No fโing sโt! I was the biggest dude โฆ I was lean and clean. Thatโs why I got pushed.โ
โI was so fโing green and I had no idea what I was doing out there.โ โI was just a guy Vince chose. What was I supposed to say? No?โ
