AEW WrestleDream Review – October 1, 2023

Kicking off WrestleDream with an Antonio Inoki tribute video package aired and featured comments from a number of AEW wrestlers about Inoki.

Tony Khan stood in the ring and welcomed fans to the inaugural WrestleDream. Khan was accompanied by Rocky Romero, Katsuyori Shibata and 2 of Inoki’s grandchildren. They all wore red scarves which Khan thanked the grandsons for. There was a table set up with a framed photo of Inoki. Romero presented bouquets of flowers to the grandsons. Khan said it would be a great night and asked fans to remember who it is all about. Let’s have a great WrestleDream Khan said. Khan also led an Ichi Ni San Da chant.

TNT Champion Christian Cage was shown watching the ceremony play out on a backstage monitor.

8 Person Tag Team Match
Shane Taylor Promotions (Shane Taylor & Lee Moriarty), Mercedes Martinez & Diamante vs. Satoshi Kojima, Keith Lee, Athena & Billie Starkz (Pre Show)

Athena & Billie Starkz hits stereo suicide dives onto Diamante & Mercedes Martinez. Shane Taylor tags in. Athena wanted to face him but the referee wouldn’t allow it so she tags in Keith Lee. Taylor caught Lee with a strike. Lee took Taylor down with a headscissors.

Lee Moriarty ran in but Lee pressed Moriarty above his head but Taylor caught Lee with another left hand. Lee tossed Moriarty aside and tags out Satoshi Kojima tags in and works over Moriarty with Machine Gun Chops in the corner.

Lee tags back in and hits an spinebuster on Taylor. Athena hits O Face on Moriarty then Lee hits Ground Zero on Moriarty then Kojima follows up with a lariat on Moriarty to score the win.

Winners: Satoshi Kojima, Keith Lee, Athena & Billie Starkz (5:42)

Claudio Castagnoli vs. Josh Barnett (Pre Show)

After some early mat wrestling Claudio Castagnoli threw elbows at Josh Barnett before Barnett took Castagnoli down with a dragon screw leg whip then both men got to their feet. Castagnoli hits a double leg takedown and wanted to perform the Big Swing but Barnett grabs the ropes to stop it.

Barnett threw leg kicks then Castagnoli fired back with uppercuts. Barnett puts Castagnoli in an abdominal stretch which Castagnoli powered out of. Both men threw elbow strikes at one another.

Castagnoli got the better of it and sent Barnett into the corner and then fired more elbow strikes. Barnett recovered and then dropped Castagnoli with a knee to the gut when Castagnoli stood up Barnett hits him with a spinning wheel kick.

Barnett hits an overhead belly 2 belly suplex and then mounted Castagnoli but he escapes and hits the Big Swing. Castagnoli threw jabs at Barnett and then put him down with a lariat before he hits Neutralizer to score the win.

After the match Barnett pushes Castagnoli then grabs a microphone. Barnett told the fans to boo all they want. He said he heard a lot about Castagnoli from his friends and training partners. Barnett said hearing about it is one thing but experiencing it is another. He said they were all right and Castagnoli has no idea how great he is. Barnett said Inoki would be a fan of Castagnoli. Barnett said he’s proud of Castagnoli but he told him it’s not over. Barnett said he would come for Castagnoli someday. Both men shook hands. Castagnoli told Barnett he would face him any time, any place and then raised his arm.

Luchasaurus vs. Nick Wayne

Nick Wayne starts the match by throwing a dropkick that Luchasaurus brushed off. Wayne dazed Luchasaurus with a couple of kicks but Luchasaurus put him down with a shoulder block.

Luchasaurus stood in the ring and chokeslams Wayne over the ropes and onto the ring apron. Wayne crawls toward his mother before Luchasaurus picks up Wayne and swung him face first into the barricade.

Back in the ring Wayne avoided a charging Luchasaurus as he crashes in the corner. Wayne hits a moonsault for a two count. Luchasaurus counters a Wayne’s World attempt then hits Wayne with a lariat to the back of the head to get the win.

Winner: Luchasaurus (4:55)

After the match Luchasaurus stood on the ropes and faced Wayne’s mother & she looked up at him and said he went too far.

Trios Titles Match
The Acclaimed (Anthony Bowens & Max Caster) & Billy Gunn (c) vs. TMDK (Bad Dude Tito, Mikey Nicholls & Shane Haste) (Pre Show)

The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn clears TMDK from the ring then they did their scissoring bit before TMDK isolated Anthony Bowens for the next few minutes then Bowens threw punches at Bad Dude Tito and then dove for his corner but Tito caught him and then Shane Haste & Mikey Nicholls ran in and hit Max Caster & Billy Gunn. Tito performed a spinebuster on Bowens for a near fall.

Bowens did a somersault under a double clothesline attempt by Haste & Nicholls then made the tag to Gunn. Tito avoids a Fameasser and then suplexes Gunn and had him pinned but Caster broke it up. Tito performing a spinning slam on Bowens for a near fall.

Gunn hit a Fameasser on Tito before Bowens followed up with The Arrival then Caster hits Mic Drop to get the win.

Winners & Still Trios Champions: The Acclaimed & Billy Gunn (9:22) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

ROH World Tag Team Titles 2 On 1 Handicap Match
MJF (c) vs. The Righteous (Vincent & Dutch)

MJF calls for sportsmanship and offers Dutch a handshake. Dutch accepted the handshake and then MJF pokes him in the eye. MJF had Dutch leaning against the ropes when he grabs Vincent and said he was going to shove his head up his ass but he ended up running into a clothesline from Dutch.

MJF fought back and got Dutch up for a bodyslam but he collapsed under his weight for a two count. Vincent hits a Swanton Bomb on MJF for another two count. Dutch executed a Bossman Slam on MJF for a near fall before Vincent hits Acid Drop for a two count.

Dutch went to ringside and distracted the referee as Vincent wound up to hit MJF with a chair but MJF reaches up and grabs his junk. MJF rolls up Vincent for a two count. Vincent put him right back down with a kick but then MJF avoided a Swanton. MJF battled back and threw ten punches in the corner at Dutch, then threw nine at Vincent before biting him.

MJF performed a bodyslam on Dutch then Dutch ends up hunched over in a corner of the ring. MJF ran Vincent’s head below his ass. MJF hits Kangaroo Kick on The Righteous then shook the ropes then MJF followed up with a Heat Seeker on Dutch to score the victory.

Winner & Still ROH World Tag Team Champions: MJF (9:35) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

NJPW Strong Openweight & ROH World Titles Match
Eddie Kingston (c) & (c) vs. Katsuyori Shibata

Katsuyori Shibata puts Eddie Kingston in an Figure 4 but Kingston eventually reaches the ropes to break it. Shibata puts Kingston in a Bow & Arrow briefly.

Kingston came back with a Backdrop Driver before Kingston fired away with chops in the corner. Shibata caught Kingston with a boot in the corner and then dropkicks a seated Kingston. Kingston suplexes Shibata but he pops right up and then swept the legs of Kingston which led to both men staying down for a moment.

Both men traded strikes then Kingston drops Shibata with a spinning Backfist but Shibata kicks out at 1. Kingston follows up with a Northern Lights Bomb as Shibata fired up but Kingston nails him with another spinning Backfist then powerbombs Shibata to get the win.

Winner & Still NJPW Strong Openweight & ROH World Champions: Eddie Kingston (10:58) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

After the match both men sat crosslegged on the mat and shook hands once they got up, Kingston had Shibata remain in the ring to take a bow.

TBS Title Match
Kris Statlander (c) vs. Julia Hart

Julia Hart took advantage of a Brody King distraction and ran Kris Statlander into the barricade multiple times then back in the ring Hart locks in an abdominal stretch.

Statlander & Hart traded strikes then Statlander put Hart down with a powerslam. Statlander hit Hart with a running uppercut and a running knee strike in the corner.

Statlander follows up with a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count. Hart avoids Sunday Night Fever as King jaws at Statlander from the floor. Hart tried to take advantage of it but Statlander caught her and picks up a near fall.

Statlander hits a deadlift German suplex and went up top but Hart cuts her off. Hart joins her on the ropes and they traded strikes. Hart hooks her legs around the ropes then suplexed Statlander into the ring. Hart stood up on the ropes.

Statlander tried to cut her off but Hart kicks her off then hits a moonsault then goes for the cover but Statlander put her foot on the bottom rope.

Hart locks in Hartless but Statlander rolls onto her briefly and then powers her up and hits Tombstone Piledriver. Statlander held onto Hart then stood up and hits Sunday Night Fever to get the win.

Winner & Still TBS Champion: Kris Statlander (8:56) (STILL CHAMPION!!!!)

After the match King puts Hart over his shoulder and carries her to the back.

AEW World Tag Team Titles #1 Contenders Fatal 4 Way Match
Lucha Bros (International Champion Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr) vs. FTW Champion Hook & Orange Cassidy vs. Young Bucks (Matt Jackson & Nick Jackson) vs. The Gunns (Austin & Coleton)

Nick Jackson & Rey Fenix starts this match off but Orange Cassidy reached in and tags Nick to enter the match. Fenix tried to hoist up Cassidy but he drops him and clutched his shoulder before tagging out.

The Gunns attacks at ringside and then Colten Gunn tags himself in and threw a dropkick at Cassidy. They cleared the wrestlers from the apron and then Austin Gunn covers Colten but referee Paul Turner wouldn’t make the count.

Young Bucks clears The Gunns then Matt Jackson & Cassidy squared off but Hook got Cassidy’s attention and tags into the match. Hook threw a series of body strikes at Matt as he is covered up in the corner. Matt hits some northern lights suplexes.

Hook returns the favor before Cassidy & Nick ran in and took northern lights suplexes from their opponents. Hook suplexes Matt before he was tagged by Austin.

The Gunns went for a double suplex on Hook but Cassidy came in and block it. Hook & Cassidy performed suplexes. Pentagon Jr tags in and set up Austin for a move but Colten hit him from behind as The Gunns isolated Hook in the corner.

Hook eventually fought off The Gunns and made a diving tag to Pentagon & he works over The Gunns while everyone else was down at ringside. Pentagon had Colten pinned but Austin broke it up.

The others returned for rapid fire moves that were capped off with a Pentagon dive onto opponents on the floor. Hook caught Austin in Redrum but Nick tags in and hits a 450 splash onto both men. Nick had the pin but Cassidy broke it up.

Young Bucks threw a series of superkicks at various opponents & Nick clotheslines Pentagon while Matt superkicks him from behind then Young Bucks hits BTE Trigger to get the win.

Swerve Strickland vs. Hangman Page

Hangman Page kips up and looks to the crowd while holding his arms open then Page knocks Swerve Strickland off the apron with a clothesline.

Page powerbombs Strickland on the apron and then onto the barricade. Page went up top and moonsaults onto Strickland on the floor. Page put Strickland down with a Popup Powerbomb for a near fall. Page targets Strickland’s wrap hand.

Swerve came back with some kicks. Page executed a deadlift German suplex but Strickland shot right up and hit a flatliner follows by a brainbuster for a near fall.

Page got Strickland on the ropes but Strickland fired away with punches until Page was hanging from the ropes and then he double stomps him. Strickland hits Page with House Call to the back of the head and covers him for a near fall.

Both men fought on the apron but Strickland got the better of it by sending Page into the ring post. Strickland went for a piledriver on the ring steps but Page blocks it then slams Strickland’s hand on the ring post. Page put Strickland down with Deadeye on the ring steps.

Page rolls Strickland inside the ring and then plays to the crowd while setting up for a Buckshot Lariat. Page kicks Strickland through the ropes twice but Strickland caught his leg on the 3rd try.

They traded shots until Page bit the hand of Strickland then Page went for a Buckshot Lariat but Strickland trips him with a drop toehold then wrenched his arm back before stomping it.

Trainers ran over and checks on Page as he was on the apron. Strickland went up top and executed a Swerve Stomp on Page then rolls inside the ring, Strickland hit a 450 splash for a near fall. Strickland applied a cross armbreaker but Page got his foot on the bottom rope to break the hold. Page continued to sell his right shoulder.

Page caught Strickland with a lariat and then set him up for Deadeye but Strickland slips out of it and applied an armbar. Page escaped it and then pounded Strickland’s bad hand with punches. Strickland executed a German suplex and then went for a Swerve Stomp that Page avoids.

Page hits Strickland with Buckshot Lariat but he sold his shoulder before going for the pin then Prince Nana reached in and put Strickland’s foot on the bottom rope. Referee Paul Turner saw Nana do it and ejected him.

Page went to ringside and jawed at Nana as he ran back to ringside once Page was back on the apron. Page went for a Buckshot Lariat but Strickland hits him with Nana’s crown and ends up getting a near fall. Strickland hits a pair of House Call then JML Driver to put away Page.

Winner: Swerve Strickland (20:12)

Ricky Starks vs. Wheeler Yuta

Ricky Starks dumps Wheeler Yuta on the top rope. Starks hits Yuta several times and then stomped him with a boot before strutting around the ring. Yuta eventually came back and hit Starks after diving from the top rope.

Yuta covers Starks for a two count then Yuta performed a variation of a Samoan Drop for another two count then Yuta went for an armbar.

Big Bill walks to ringside & Yuta was distracted by Bill then Starks rolls him up for a two count. Starks follows with a tornado DDT for another two count. Starks powerbombs Yuta for a near fall.

Starks removes his elbow pad and then fired away with elbow strikes before Yuta caught Starks’ arm then stood up and threw some shots of his own. Yuta ran the ropes and was put down with a clothesline. Starks went to the apron and attempted a springboard move, but Yuta shoved Starks into Bill.

Yuta dove onto Bill but he caught him by the throat. Yuta shoves Bill into the ring post then back in the ring Yuta fired away with elbow strikes and rolls Starks into a pin for a near fall. Starks came back with a spear then hits Roshambo to score the win.

Winner: Ricky Starks (9:53)

Bryan Danielson vs. Zack Sabre Jr

Zack Sabre Jr went for an octopus hold before Bryan Danielson reversed it then ZSJ did the same but neither man was able to lock in the hold.

Danielson applied a leg hold and bridged but ZSJ sat right up and mounted him then both men went for various holds but neither man was successful and they both got back to their feet.

Danielson countered out of a move and hooked Sabre in a surfboard then ZSJ pushes Danielson into the ropes and teased a clean break only to hit him with an uppercut before Danielson fired back with a pair of uppercuts of his own then both men traded uppercuts.

Sabre encouraged Danielson to use his right arm which he did but then ZSJ caught him with a punch to the ribs. ZSJ puts Danielson’s arm in a bent position then stomps on it. ZSJ wrenched the middle finger of Danielson then snaps his fingers. ZSJ threw taunting kicks. Sabre sent Danielson into the corner but he ran up the ropes and flips over ZSJ.

Danielson went for the surfboard but when he couldn’t hook ZSJ then he opted to stomp the back of his legs. Danielson put ZSJ down with a dragon screw leg whip.

Danielson performed a 2nd dragon screw then ZSJ came right back by putting Danielson’s head between his feet and then wrenched his neck.

Danielson tied up ZSJ in a tree of woe and fired a series of kicks at him. Danielson pushes Sabre into a seated position on the top turnbuckle then stood on the middle rope and blasted him with elbow strikes.

ZSJ caught Danielson’s left arm and wrenched it over his shoulder. ZSJ stood on the ropes and bent Danielson’s arm. Danielson headbutted the ribs of ZSJ twice and then headbutted his head a few times.

Danielson executed an avalanche butterfly suplex. Danielson went for the LeBell Lock but ZSJ stuffed it. Danielson rolls him over and hooks ZSJ’s left arm with his leg and then pulls back on his left foot but ZSJ reached the ropes with his right foot to break the hold.

Danielson sold his injured right arm for a moment and then fired away kicks at ZSJ but he ducks the final one. Danielson spun around a blasted him with a finale kick on the 2nd try. Danielson grabs the arms of ZSJ then stomped his head several times.

Danielson went to a corner of the ring and then charges at ZSJ but he sidesteps him and rolls him up and bridged but Danielson rolls through and bridged for a two count.

Both men reversed a couple more times then ZSJ ends up getting a two count while bridging. Danielson caught ZSJ with a dropkick in the corner. ZSJ trips up Danielson and went for a bridging move but Danielson slips away and threw elbow strikes. ZSJ rolls Danielson into an armbar and then wrenched his fingers.

Danielson slips away and used his legs to execute a dragon screw then ZSJ counters into a leg lock then both men sat face to face. Danielson spat at ZSJ while in the hold before ZSJ slaps him a couple times.

Danielson grabs ZSJ by the throat then threw a slap. ZSJ maintained the hold and then both men traded kicks which Danielson got the better of to free himself.

Once both men were on their feet  ZSJ threw some punches at the right arm of Danielson then they ended up back to back and eventually ZSJ hits a backslide for a two count. Sabre stood up and threw a kick at Danielson. ZSJ hooks Danielson in an omoplata and then transitioned into another hold but Danielson put his foot on the bottom rope.

ZSJ threw kicks at a kneeling Danielson then stomps his right arm. ZSJ ran the ropes and was caught by a roundhouse kick. Danielson follows up with a 2nd kick then grabs ZSJ’s arms and threw more kicks. ZSJ blocked a kick and caught Danielson in an armbar.

ZSJ rolls him over and wrenched his arm then transitioned into another style of armbar but Danielson got up and suplexes him. Danielson hits Busaiku Knee for a near fall then Danielson got up and hit another Busaiku Knee to put ZSJ away.

Winner: Bryan Danielson (23:12)

Trios Match
The Don Callis Family (Konosuke Takeshita, Sammy Guevara & Will Ospreay) vs. Golden Lovers (Kenny Omega & Kota Ibushi) & Chris Jericho

Will Ospreay & Kenny Omega starts this match but Sammy Guevara tags Ospreay’s back o Chris Jericho tags in and threw chops at Guevara. Jericho whips Guevara into the ropes but Guevara hooks the ropes with his arms before Guevara flips off Jericho and tags out.

Guevara went to ringside and spoke into Taz’s mic but it was tough to hear what he was saying. Omega threw chops at Ospreay and then ran the ropes but Konosuke Takeshita caught him with a kick to the back. Jericho hits Ospreay from behind.

Both teams enters the ring and threw punches as Golden Lovers & Jericho won that battle quickly and then did the Inoki chant before diving onto The Don Callis Family at ringside. Omega hits a rolling senton on Ospreay and then went for a moonsault from the ropes but Ospreay put his knees up.

Ospreay caught Omega in an abdominal stretch as Takeshita, Guevara & Callis all provided a chain of leverage. Referee Aubrey Edwards caught them yet didn’t break the hold. They did it again and this time she kicks Ospreay’s arm free from the others.

Guevara tags in and hits a spinning powerbomb on Omega then hits him with a Swanton Bomb. Guevara had him beat but Ibushi ran in and broke up the pin. Jericho tags in and hits a 1 armed bulldog on Guevara.

Jericho puts Guevara in the abdominal stretch as Golden Lovers made a leverage chain but Edwards caught them. Jericho released the hold and then poked the eyes of Guevara. Ibushi tags in and joined Jericho in a double shoulder block. Jericho spun into a pose and then Ibushi poses with him.

Golden Lovers hits moonsaults onto Ospreay & Takeshita at ringside. Jericho followed that with a Lionsault on Guevara for a near fall. Omega picks up Guevara in powerbomb position and tossed him into a German suplex from Ibushi. Takeshita came back with a pair of wicked suplexes on Omega.

Takeshita dumps Ibushi on his head with a release German suplex then Jericho threw punches at Takeshita as he drops him with a forearm then Takeshita accidentally hit Ospreay with a knee strike.

Jericho dropkicks Takeshita off the apron. Omega sent Ospreay out of the ring with a hurricanrana. Omega did the terminator spot and then hit a flip dive onto Guevara & Ospreay.

Guevara returned to the ring and executed a Spanish Fly on Jericho then Guevara went up top and performed a shooting star press on Omega. Guevara went for a springboard move but Jericho hit him with a Codebreaker on the way down. Jericho had Guevara beat but Ospreay broke up the pin.

Omega executed a snap dragon suplex on Ospreay. Guevara flew from the ropes and hits a cutter on Omega. Ospreay powerbombs Ibushi. Takeshita blasted Omega with a running knee. Ospreay & Takeshita hit running bit boots in the corner on Jericho then held him up before Guevara hit him with a Codebreaker.

Guevara covers Jericho but he kicks out at one. Jericho fired up and threw chops at The Don Callis Family until they recovered and beat him down. Ibushi slowly got to his feet and slowly raised his head while The Don Callis Family watched.

Ibushi ducks an Ospreay punch and drops him with one of his own. Ibushi absorbed Guevara’s punches and drops him with a palm strike. Takeshita & Ibushi traded forearms. Takeshita turns Ibushi inside out with a clothesline. Ibushi shot up and put Takeshita down with a lariat of his own.

Omega caught Ospreay with a V Trigger then Golden Lovers set up for Golden Trigger but Guevara hit them with a crossbody from the top rope. Omega set up Ospreay for One Winged Angel but Ospreay ended up sending Omega to the floor and then hit him with a Sky Twister dive from the ropes.

Jericho tried to hit Guevara with Judas Effect but Ospreay took it instead. Guevara superkicks Jericho. Jericho caught Guevara on the ropes and pulls him off with a hurricanrana.

Jericho had the pin but Ospreay held the referee in the corner too long and Guevara was able to kick out by the time she made the count. Guevara went for the GTH.

Jericho stuffed it and applied the Walls Of Jericho with the referee tied up Callis ran in and hit Jericho with his own baseball bat & Guevara pins him to get the win.

AEW World Tag Team Titles Match
FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) (c) vs. Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis)

Aussie Open picks up FTR and then run at ringside until they drive them into one another then back in the ring Mark Davis bodyslams Cash Wheeler then hits a senton and got up and kicks him in the back.

Aussie Open isolated Wheeler. He eventually catapulted Kyle Fletcher over the top rope. Davis got his partner back in the ring and tags himself in before Wheeler could tag out. Davis ends up holding up Wheeler then Fletcher powerbombs him.

Wheeler caught Fletcher on the ropes and put him down with a side suplex from the top rope. Both men stayed down. Wheeler tried to tag Dax Harwood but Davis pulls Harwood off the apron. Fletcher put Wheeler down with a brainbuster for a near fall. Davis tags in and works over Wheeler.

Wheeler caught Davis with a shot. Fletcher quickly tags in and stops Wheeler from tagging out momentarily but Wheeler hits a back body drop and tagged out. Harwood got the better of Fletcher.

Davis stood up to him but Harwood was able to put him down then performed 2 suplexes on Fletcher. Davis charged at Harwood but he backdrops him again then hits another suplex on Fletcher.

Harwood performed a 4th suplex on Fletcher then avoided a top rope headbutt. Davis tags in and then Aussie Open hits a double team cutter move that led to a near fall. Harwood came back with a slingshot Liger Bomb for a near fall on Fletcher that left both men down temporarily.

Aussie Open hits Wheeler with a kick version of a Doomsday Device and got a near fall. Wheeler fought off Fletcher on the ropes while Harwood caught Davis on the ropes in another corner.

FTR hit their superplex and top rope splash combo move. Wheeler had Davis pinned but Fletcher crossbody Harwood and they both fell onto the pin to break it up.

Aussie Open hit simultaneous clotheslines on Wheeler then they set up for Corealis but Harwood broke it up. Aussie Open hits Codebreaker on Wheeler then hits him with Coriolis then Davis covers Wheeler but Harwood broke it up.

FTR came back and hits a spike piledriver on the apron on Davis. Fletcher took out FTR with a suicide dive. Fletcher rolls Wheeler back inside the ring and went up top but Wheeler recovers and cuts him off. Wheeler joins Fletcher on the ropes and was knocked down. Harwood ran up and pulls Fletcher into Shatter Machine for the win.

Winners & Still AEW World Tag Team Champions: FTR (20:26) (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!!)

Christian Cage (c) vs. Darby Allin

1st Fall

Christian Cage spat at Darby Allin then he took him down then Allin eventually pulls Cage’s turtleneck over his head and caught him with the jackknife and scores the 1st fall.

Allin 1-0

2nd Fall

Cage rolls to ringside then he stops and smiled at Nick Wayne’s mother before Cage took offensive control. Allin avoided a top rope headbutt from Cage then hits a Destroyer for a near fall. Allin picks up a couple more near falls.

Cage tossed Allin to ringside and follows. Cage ran Allin into the ringside barricade twice before tossing him back inside the ring. Cage teased returning to the ring but he stops and decided to approach Nick Wayne’s mother. She smiled at him and put her hand on his shoulder but then threw her drink in his face.

Allin hits a suicide dive. Allin got Cage inside the ring and went up top as Cage rolls to the floor. Allin adjusted and hits him with a Coffin Drop. Allin got Cage in the ring and then went for the Coffin Drop again but Cage put his knees up. Allin rolls to the apron. Cage knocks him off the apron and into the side of the broadcast table.

Cage pulls the ring steps out. Cage hoisted up Allin on his shoulder but Allin slips away and returns to the ring. Cage followed and was roughed up by Allin while he was on the apron. Cage gouged Allin’s eye. Cage hoisted up Allin and drops him in front of the ring steps then Cage picks up Allin and slams him on the steps.

Cage brought Allin back to the apron and struggled to get him up but then slams him onto the ring steps as the trainer checked on Allin he was counted out to end the fall.

Cage 1-1

3rd Fall

The trainer and the referee both checked on Allin. Cage drops down to the floor as the referee ordered Cage to stand back. Cage untied the ring canvas. The referee calls for a stretcher. Meanwhile, Cage pushed the canvas padding back to expose the boards.

Allin was placed on a stretcher. Cage went up top and performed a frog splash onto Allin as he was still on the stretcher. Cage rolls Allin inside the ring and onto the exposed boards. Allin got to his feet and took a swing at Cage but he avoids it then hits Killswitch on the boards for a near fall.

Cage went for a spear but Allin sidesteps it. Cage put him down then applied Scorpion Death Lock. Allin reaches the bottom rope to break the hold.

Allin climbs on Cage’s back and gouged his eyes before putting him down with a Scorpion Death Drop. Allin went up to and hits Coffin Drop for a near fall.

Cage cuts off Allin on the ropes and set up for another move on the steps on the floor. Allin fought back. Cage executed a sunset bomb. Cage went for a spear, but Allin moved and the referee took the move.

Cage went to ringside and brought his TNT Title back to the ring with him. Nick Wayne ran out and took the TNT Title away from Cage and then ran over by his mom.

Cage left the ring and chased Wayne inside the ring where Wayne joined Allin as Cage begs off. Wayne spoke about this being for his mom and his dad then blasted Allin with the TNT Title. Wayne’s mother was shocked. Cage woke up the referee and covers Allin for the win.

After the match Cage celebrated with his TNT Title then Nick Wayne returns to the ring and hugs Cage & he kissed his forehead. Cage pulls Allin to his knees and held him while Wayne slaps, punched and kicks him. Cage & Wayne put the boots to Allin.

Sting walks to the ring without entrance music while Cage put his arm around Wayne. Sting got the better of Cage & Wayne with punches. Sting picks up Wayne and ran him into Luchasaurus & he arrived on the apron. Wayne grabs Sting’s legs and then Luchasaurus & Cage works over Sting.

Cage went to ringside and brought 2 chairs back with him. Cage set up to give Sting a Conchairto when the lights went out.

An our feature presentation movie video played. A sports car was shown arriving. You think you know him? Adam Copeland’s music played and he ran onto the stage and plays to the fans. Copeland slowly walks to the ring while Cage had had his guys stand back.

Copeland held out his hand. Cage handed him the chair. Copeland smiled. Wayne got Sting in position for a Conchairto. Edge looks to the crowd wound up with the chair then hits Wayne with it. Copeland threw the chair at Luchasaurus then spears him while Cage fled the ring.

Copeland spears Wayne. Cage backed up the ramp and clutched his TNT Title while Copeland stared him down from a distance. Copeland’s theme song played while Cage held up his title belt. Copeland turned and looked at Allin & Sting as they were on their feet. Allin offers a handshake which Copeland accepted. Sting slowly approached Copeland and extended his hand. Copeland shook Sting’s hand while Cage, Wayne & Luchasaurus headed to the back.
