As PWMania.com previously reported, Brian Pillman Jr. was spotted working out at the WWE Performance Center in July after leaving AEW, and it was reported that he would be joining the NXT brand.
Pillman Jr. first appeared on WWE television during the September 26th, 2023 episode of NXT. An unidentified man was watching television clips of the Cincinnati Bengals training camp and WCW Saturday Night in a vignette. Brian Pillman, his father, briefly played for the team and wrestled for several years in WCW before joining WWE in 1996.
