Out of all of the wrestlers released by WWE last week, one stands head-and-shoulders above the rest as a potential prospect for All Elite Wrestling to Mark Henry.
“The World’s Strongest Man” spoke on the latest episode of Busted Open Radio about the massive WWE and NXT releases from last week, which saw over 25 talents cut from the company.
During the discussion, Henry was asked which of the released talents he would have at the top of his list to try and bring to AEW.
“Dolph Ziggler. Top of the list,” Henry said. “One of the best wrestlers in this modern era, in the last 10 years for sure.”
Henry continued, “His first 15 years, he was kind of cutting his teeth, getting acclimated, and then the next four [years], he started to get in the main event picture, kind of being the foil for other people. But the last 10 years, Dolph Ziggler’s been one of the elite of the elite guys.”
