On a recent episode of the Jim Cornette Experience, Jim Cornette and his co-host Brian Last discussed fantasy booking the storyline for Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and The Rock going into WWE WrestleMania 40.
Cornette stated that The Rock shouldn’t lose to Reigns at WrestleMania 40; however, he can’t win the championship because it’s most likely a one-off match. Cornette says it can be more of a family story between Reigns and The Rock.
Cornette suggested for Rhodes to beat Reigns at Royal Rumble 2024 after the Rock costs him the title in some fashion, setting up the showdown between Rock and Reigns.
Brian Last suggested to have that match as the main event for one night, and the other night’s main event could be WWE World Champion Cody Rhodes against the 2024 Royal Rumble winner. That person could be CM Punk.
