Chris Jericho will be heading to Japan to work a show for DDT Pro-Wrestling while continuing his training with Konosuke Takeshita.
Jericho has been feuding with Don Callis’ new family, which includes Takeshita, on AEW television.
On October 1, Jericho will team with Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi for the first time against Takeshita, Sam Guevara, and Will Ospreay in an AEW WrestleDream trios match.
On Sunday, Jericho made his first appearance on DDT programming, sending a video message to Takeshita. The AEW prospect defeated MAO and introduced the DDT audience to Callis at the DDT Who’s Gonna TOP? 2023 event. Jericho ripped a photograph of Takeshita in half.
After listing his accomplishments in Japan, Jericho stated that he would give him the opportunity to face him in his home promotion at DDT Ultimate Party 2023 on November 12.
