On Thursday, WWE let go of Dolph Ziggler, Mustafa Ali, Elias, Shelton Benjamin, Riddick Moss, Emma, Aliyah, and “Top Dolla” AJ Francis from the main roster, while Quincy Elliott, Shanky, Bryson Montana, Yulisa Leon, Dabba-Kato, Kevin Ventura-Cortez, Alexa Gray, and Daniel McArthur from NXT. One of those let go will wrestle their final match on television tonight, as the September 22 edition of WWE NXT Level Up was taped at the WWE Performance Center on Tuesday night, before WWE NXT went live on the USA Network.
Matches such as Myles Borne vs. Riley OsborneIvy Nile vs. Izzy DameFallon Henley vs. Arianna Grace, and Axiom vs. Charlie Dempsey in the last Global Heritage Invitational match took place during the tapings.
Ikemen Jiro was one of the names released, and as such, he will have his final WWE match on this show.
He signed with the company after breaking into the business in 2014 and wrestling for Wrestle-1 until 2020. He was mostly used on the NXT Level Up brand.
