Real Reason Why Matt Riddle Missed This Week’s WWE RAW

WWE RAW was the first show to compete against NFL Monday Night Football on ESPN and ABC on Monday. On the show, the company was missing one of its regular stars.

That star was Matt Riddle, who recently made headlines when he accused a New York City airport police officer at JFK airport of sexual harassment. He made the claim on Instagram, which he later deleted.

According to law enforcement sources, Port Authority officers received a call about a disorderly person deplaning. This person was Riddle, who appeared apologetic when speaking with the police, and no police report was filed. They have begun an internal investigation.

Later, he was removed from Monday’s RAW and this weekend’s live events.

Dave Meltzer stated on Wrestling Observer Radio that Riddle missed the show due to a double ear infection and bronchitis.

Meltzer stated, “He was not on the show tonight, but that’s because he had a double ear infection and bronchitis. It was not a punishment, as far as I know. He may have been punished also, but as far as anyone knows, it’s an illness. WWE has not made any comments on it at all.”
