New information is emerging about what happened backstage at AEW All In London on Sunday night, and according to the most recent report, CM Punk’s relationship with Tony Khan may be irreparable.

According to Wade Keller of PWTorch.com, when Perry made the “real glass” and “cry me a river” comments during the live pay-per-view, Punk was already upset about not being picked up at the airport by anyone from AEW, and Punk didn’t know at the time that no one was picked up at the airport, so he wasn’t being singled out by people in the company.

Punk was said to have confronted Tony Khan in front of other people in his locker room in a “heated, intense manner.” According to reports, Punk told Khan and then “chewed out Khan with harsh phrasing.”

Punk almost didn’t go out for his match with Samoa Joe, as PWMania.com previously reported via today’s Wrestling Observer Live. Bryan Alvarez stated today that Samoa Joe was furious by the situation and that he had to persuade Punk to come out to the ring. According to Keller, it didn’t take long for Punk to agree and continue the match as planned. Following the match, Punk and Khan were said to have gone silent for an extended period of time.

According to reports, Punk and Perry have been suspended. Punk was informed of this through his lawyer, according to Nick Hausman. For what it’s worth, Punk appeared to say “goodbye” in the ring shortly after his match with Joe. People in the company are speculating whether Punk is looking to leave AEW, according to Keller.

Unless the suspension is lifted before the weekend, which seems unlikely, Punk and Perry will not be wrestling at All Out in Chicago, putting the company in an awkward position given that a large portion of the fans are there to see Punk.

Keller also mentioned that Punk had previously been fined. PWInsider reports the belief within the company is that Punk was fined in the “five figure range” for his off-air comments about Hangman Adam Page after Collision.
