Today marks the 8th anniversary of one of WWE’s greatest matches, and without a doubt the best women’s match in the company’s history.
Sasha Bank and Bayley wrestled each other in an incredible match at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn in 2005, which helped propel the NXT brand to a higher level in the eyes of many wrestling fans.
Banks, now known as Mercedes Money, tweeted to her friend Bayley, “Let’s do this again someday ??@itsBayleyWWE”
It’s anyone’s guess whether the match will take place in WWE or elsewhere.
Mone has been recovering at home from an ankle injury, and it is expected that she will return soon, though the date and location are unknown at this time.
