WWE’s biggest event of the summer, SummerSlam, takes place at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan, and will be broadcast live on Peacock.
After the internal card leaked weeks ago, the show’s official lineup is mostly complete. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns will face Jey Uso in a Tribal Combat Match, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins will face Finn Balor, and Brock Lesnar will face Cody Rhodes.
Ronda Rousey vs. Shayna Baszler, WWE Women’s Champion Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair vs. Bianca Belair, WWE Intercontinental Champion GUNTHER vs. Drew McIntyre, and Logan Paul vs. Ricochet are the other matches also confirmed for the show.
Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported in the most recent issue that Rhea Ripley vs. Raquel Rodriguez for the World Women’s Title is still being planned for the show.
Meltzer wrote, “We were told that as of last word, it was still on the show, although they are doing a knee injury angle with Rodriguez.”
