Indy Star Hints At Backstage Issues With The AEW Women’s Division

Following this week’s AEW Dynamite, there has been a lot of renewed discussion about how the women’s division has been booked.

Most weeks, the women will have one match on Dynamite while the men will have three or four matches on the same show, and fans have expressed dissatisfaction with the overall booking of the women’s storylines.

The issues were even brought up on Dynamite (likely by AEW’s production) after the Dr. Britt Baker, DMD vs. Taya Valkyrie match, when the camera focused in on a fan holding a sign that said “Book The Women’s Division Better.”

Independent wrestler LuFusto hinted on Twitter that the women’s roster may be having issues backstage that are unrelated to the booking. LuFisto posted the following on Twitter:

“It’s cute how people blame booking for a bad women’s division.

Talent with too much power; talent denigrating each other; talent trash-talking potential employees so they never get in as soon as they walk in…

It starts here.

– The one you called FN French Canadian a**hole”

LuFisto did not name anyone specifically, but she has wrestled in a number of independent promotions and is likely to have friends in AEW. It’s unclear what she’s referring to, but the women’s division has been a hot topic on social media.
