AEW CEO and ROH owner Tony Khan recently announced that following Daniel Garcia’s big pinfall victory over current ROH Pure Champion Katsuyori Shibata in a Tag Team Match on AEW Dynamite, Garcia will now challenge Shibata for his ROH Pure Championship at this Friday’s ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV Event.
It was also announced several hours later that reigning ROH Women’s World Champion Athena will defend her ROH Women’s World Title against Willow Nightingale at this Friday’s ROH Death Before Dishonor PPV Event. This match was made after Willow defeated Athena in the semifinals of the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament on route to becoming the overall champion.
ROH Death Before Dishonor is set to take place this Friday, July 21st inside the Cure Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey.
