During a recent Sports Illustrated interview, the Japanese legend spoke about his scheduled AEW Championship match at AEW & NJPW: The Forbidden Door 2 this Sunday in Toronto, Ontario, Canada against MJF.

On challenging for the AEW Championship at The Forbidden Door 2: “I feel very honored to challenge for the AEW title. Just imagining myself becoming the AEW world heavyweight champion is pretty exciting.”
