On the debut episode of Saturday Night’s AEW Collision, Luchasaurus defeated Wardlow to capture the TNT Championship. With the help of Christian Cage, Luchasaurus won his first AEW singles championship before his former tag partner, “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry.
However, Perry did have something to say about the controversial win on Saturday, and it wasn’t much. Perry simply sent out a one word Tweet shortly after: “Congrats…”

Once tag team champions, now bitter enemies, Perry last faced Luchasaurus in a Steel Cage match at 2022’s Full Gear; in a winning effort. Since then, Perry participated in the 4-way pillars match for the AEW Championship at Double or Nothing, and has reunited with FTW Champion HOOK, to reform “Junglehook.”
