An all-around excellent top-to-bottom episode of AEW Dynamite this Wednesday night saw an explosive culmination inside the Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C.
During the closing moments of the show after the Blackpool Combat Club vs. Hangman Page & The Young Bucks Trios main event, Eddie Kingston made his All Elite Wrestling return.
“The Mad King” hit the ring and started rag-dolling wrestlers around the ring before going forehead-to-forehead with his friend and ally of his enemy Claudio Castagnoli — BCC leader Jon Moxley.
As the madness continued to unfold, NJPW star Will Ospreay also turned up and beat down The Elite’s Kenny Omega to end the show and further promote their showdown for the IWGP U.S. Championship at AEW & NJPW: The Forbidden Door in late-July.
Excalibur announced as the show was going off the air that Will Ospreay will be appearing on this Friday night’s episode of AEW Rampage on TNT.
