WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle recently spoke on his podcast, “The Kurt Angle Show,” about a variety of professional wrestling topics including renewing his vows with his wife Giovanna last week:
“We’ve been married 11 years. I decided to do it because we finally are in a place in our lives where we’re actually comfortable and we feel really good about everything. We just moved into a new house. I had to downsize after I got a divorce and we lived in a house where our kids were struggling where you know, there were three kids in one bedroom.”
Angle continued, “We finally got into a beautiful home, everybody’s happy, and I thought, you know what? I made my wife struggle quite a bit. I had a lot of painkiller problems and stuff like that and alcohol problems. I said we’re gonna start over. We’re gonna reset. I’m gonna remarry her and I’m gonna see if she says yes, and she did (he laughs). It was small (the ceremony). It was just the kids and my in-laws. It was really cool to do that. I recommend anybody that’s been married already, and you guys want to renew your nuptials, it’s a great thing to do, and you know what? I will tell you this. I ain’t gonna lie to you. My sex life hasn’t been any better than this (he laughs).”
