WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was not present at today’s WWE Night of Champions event at the Jeddah Super Dome in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. PWInsider reported that there was once an office set up for Vince at the Jeddah Super Dome in case he decided to make the trip, but he was not expected to be there as of Friday night, and he was not.
Today’s show was ran by WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H. Kevin Dunn, WWE Executive Producer and Chief of Global TV Distribution, was also in Jeddah.
Backstage, longtime WWE referee/producer Jason Ayers was performing the Gorilla Position, which he also did at Friday’s press conference. Ayers is filling in for Billy Kidman, who was unable to make the trip to the Kingdom this week.
Brock Lesnar was not spotted anywhere in Saudi Arabia over the course of the weekend, as he only arrived today. Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns arrived on Thursday.
