Destiny Wrestling & Seaway Valley Wrestling Announce Superfight 2, Main Event Revealed

Two of the premier indy promotions in Ontario will join forces for the second time as Destiny Wrestling and Seaway Valley Wrestling present Superfight 2 on June 17th at the Agora Arena in Cornwall, Ontario.

In addition to major talent announcements, the main event for Superfight 2 has been revealed as indy sensation and current Seaway Valley Wrestling Champion Macrae Martin defends his title against IMPACT Wrestling superstar Dirty Dango.

This will be Macrae Martin’s 2nd defense of the title he won back on February 25th. Martin successfully defended the title against Brad Alekxis on April 29th at Seaway Valley Wrestling’s No Regrets.

Another IMPACT Superstar has be confirmed for Superfight 2 as former IMPACT Knockouts World Champion Tasha Steelz will be in action. An opponent for Steelz has not yet been named.

One of the top tag teams in Canada and current Destiny Wrestling World Tag Team Champions Matt Connors and Justin Newhook AKA Sabotage will be at Superfight 2 defending their titles against opponents that have yet to be determined.

PWMania.com spoke with Justin Newhook of Sabotage about Superfight 2 and here is what he had to say about the upcoming event:

“It’s been three and a half years, roughly, since Sabotage has been in Seaway Valley Wrestling so there will be a complete different Sabotage showing up on June 17th. What they can expect is something completely different than what they were used to. We have evolved into a more dangerous and more brutal tag team. We’ve always been in sync and on the same page but now we are on the same mission and it’s to prove we are the best tag team in all of Canada. So it doesn’t matter who they put across the ring from us, it can be Freak Nation, Fear The Beard, Double Dragon or whatever other tag teams that they created since we have been there. There is a reason they are bringing us back, because the tag team division needs to be put on notice and Sabotage is the team to do that. We don’t f**k around and we don’t play games. We come in, we beat people down and then we leave.”
