Tommaso Ciampa’s return was teased by WWE last week, and it appears that he will return soon.
During a backstage segment last week, The Way reformed, and Johnny Gargano promised that “he’s coming back soon.”
It was not made clear who he was referring to, but there is a WWE rumor that Ciampa is getting ready to make a comeback, and according to Twitter insider @BoozerRasslin, Ciampa and Gargano are about to get a big push.
The goal is for DIY to receive a significant push following Night of Champions and in the weeks leading up to the Money In The Bank PLE. No specific date has been given for Ciampa’s return, but it would make sense for him to appear on RAW following the Night of Champions PLE.
For months, there has been talk of getting Ciampa and Gargano back together, and Gargano has discussed the idea in interviews. In September, Ciampa made his last appearance on WWE TV and had hip surgery in October.
