Today, WWE held a press conference to promote WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico.
The press conference began with Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega on one side and Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio on the other. Zelina stated that she would win the SmackDown Women’s Championship in Puerto Rico. As can be seen in the video below, there was a lot of trash talking on both sides.
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H made an appearance. At the press conference, he addressed the fans before introducing Cody Rhodes, who will face Brock Lesnar tomorrow night. Cody thanked Puerto Rican fans and officials for their assistance in bringing WWE to the island.
Bad Bunny was introduced after an announcement about the World Heavyweight Championship.
Bunny discussed WWE finally holding an event in Puerto Rico because the last time they were there for New Year’s Revolution, he was a child. Damien Priest interrupted, causing chaos.
