The tragic death of former WWE Tough Enough star Sara Lee is accompanied by additional sad news.
According to TMZ, citing Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office documents, Lee died from a lethal combination of alcohol and pills, and there were “letters of intent” left behind before her death.
According to the report, Lee had “bruises and abrasions” on her head and body at the time of her passing and it is believed to have come from “the injuries in a fall or falls while in an intoxicated state.”
Lee’s final Instagram post was about “being healthy snough” to train at the gym after the “first ever sinus infection kicked my butt,” she wrote.
Last month, PEOPLE.com quoted a “insider” as saying that alcohol may have played a role in her death, which was “unexpected,” but that “it wasn’t intentional and it was accidental.” According to a previous PEOPLE.com report, there were no warning signs, and Lee was “never that person you would think would do this.”
The Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office appears to contradict the statement made by PEOPLE.com.
