Maria Menounos Reveals She Has Overcome Pancreatic Cancer

NY Times Bestseller, Emmy-Award Winner Maria Menounos revealed that she beat pancreatic cancer in an interview with People.com.

During the interview, she revealed that she was diagnosed with stage 2 pancreatic cancer in January, while expecting a child. Because the tumor was discovered early, it was removed along with a portion of her pancreas, spleen, and a large fibroid. On February 16, she was given a favorable prognosis.

“I need people to know there are places they can go to catch things early,” Menounos said. “You can’t let fear get in the way. I had that moment where I thought I was a goner—but I’m okay because I caught this early enough.” Menounos previously batted a benign brain tumor in 2017.

Menounos is a freind of WWE. She has hosted numerous shows over the years, most notably the WWE Hall of Fame red carpet ceremonies.
