With the return of Executive Chairman Vince McMahon, there is a sense of “walking on eggshells” in the WWE locker room.
According to a new report from PWInsider, there has been some “bubbling paranoia” among some WWE talents in recent weeks, primarily wrestlers who WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H signed back last summer but are not currently in the main event or receiving pushes.
Some talents are concerned about Vince’s return and whether it means they will be relegated to the undercard and may be the first to be released if and when there are cuts.
Some WWE creative sources have indicated that no such edict has been issued, but that hasn’t stopped wrestlers from being concerned. The “walking on eggshells” feeling has gradually returned now that Vince is back in the picture.
