Trish Stratus appeared on WWE Raw this week to address her attack on Becky Lynch.
Trish stated that she is the reason why women’s wrestling is taken seriously and that fans should chant “Thank you, Trish.”
She complained about Becky making it sound like the Four Horsewomen were responsible for the women’s evolution, and not once did Becky thank Trish for opening the door for her or say “Thank you, Trish.”
Trish went on to say that Lita fell for Becky and became her sidekick. Trish explained that she took Lita out of the picture to “put her out of her misery” and to make it clear that she (Trish) was the one who screwed Becky out of her titles.
The Becky Lynch vs. Trish Stratus match is rumored for SummerSlam, so expect a slow build from now until August unless plans change.
