What is the FTW Championship?
Who better to answer this question than the man who created the title back in the original Extreme Championship Wrestling days?
Taz took to social media on Thursday evening and cleared up any confusion fans might have about the title, which is featured in All Elite Wrestling and currently held by his son HOOK, who defends the belt against “All Ego” Ethan Page tonight on AEW Rampage.
“Any newer wrestling fans or fans that weren’t familiar with ECW,” Taz began in a post shared via his official Twitter page. “[The] “FTW Rules” were something that would happen at times in late 90’s w/FTW title.”
Taz concluded, “It was, falls count anywhere, anything goes type thing.”
