Just 2 Guys (Taichi & Douki) vs. Yuto Nakashima & Hiroshi Tanahashi
Just 2 Guys extensively worked over Yuto Nakashima early on. Hiroshi Tanahashi makes the hot tag and hits some punches on Douki and was fired up. He hit a 2nd rope summersault on Douki for a near fall. Nakashima demands to be tags back in so Tanahashi hesitantly tags out but Taichi hits Dangerous Backdrop for the win.

Kosei Fujita & Ryohei Oiwa start this match off then Zack Sabre Jr & Shota Umino finally tags in and traded reversals. Umino hits a dropkick on Fujita then Death Rider on Fujita for the win.

Bullet Club (Strong Openweight Champion Kenta,El Phantasmo & Chase Owens) vs. NEVER Openweight Champion Tama Tonga,Tomohiro Ishii & Tomoaki Honma
Bullet Club attacks Tama Tonga,Tomohiro Ishii & Tomoaki Honma at the bell. Chase Owens & Ishii squared off before Bullet Club took turns working over Ishii. Tonga finally made the hot tag & he rips off his vest and hit a Stinger Splash for a near fall. El Phantasmo & Tomoaki Honma enters with Honma missing Kokeshi.
Ishii & Owens traded more offense with Ishii hitting a German suplex then Honma hits Kokeshi on Phantasmo for a near fall then ELP fires back with Sudden Death then CRII for the win.

House Of Torture charges up the ramp and attacks Strong Style,Ryusuke Taguchi & Toru Yano on the floor. In the ring House Of Torture immediately began working over Taguchi before Yujiro Takahashi connects with Pimp Juice for the win.

Los Ingobnrables De Japon (KOPW 2023 Champion Shingo Takagi & Tetsuya Naito) vs. United Empire (Aaron Henare & Great O Khan)
Shingo Takagi & Aaron Henare traded forearm shots then United Empire works over Tetsuya Naito. Henare hits a Samoan Drop on Takagi for a 2 count and he sets up for Ultima but Takagi fights it off. Naito & Great O Khan re entered with Naito hitting a basement dropkick to the back and a 2nd rope Blockbuster.
O Khan locks in Sheep Killer on Naito and goes for a cover but Takagi made the save then O Khan hits a Mafia Kick on Naito. Naito fires back with an enzuigiri and he went for a Destino but O Khan caught him and hits Tenzan Tombstone Driver then O Khan sets up for Sheep Killer but Naito rolls him up for the win.

6 Man Tag Team Match
Chaos (IWGP Tag Team Champions Hirooki Goto & Yoshi Hashi & IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada) vs. United Empire (Mark Davis,Kyle Fletcher & Jeff Cobb)
Chaos & United Empire brawls on the floor. In the ring Jeff Cobb hits a standing moonsault on Hirooki Goto for a 2 count and they continued to work over Goto. Kazuchika Okada finally enters and traded offense with Cobb then locking him in the Money Clip. Okada came off the top rope but Cobb caught him and hit a body slam.
Mark Davis enters and works over Okada then Okada hits a neckbreaker over his knee, and they were both down. Yoshi Hashi enters and hits a dragon suplex on Davis for a near fall. Aussie Open hit front & back clotheslines on Yoshi Hashi before they drill Yoshi Hashi to the mat with Korealis to get the win for United Empire.

Junior Heavyweight Title Match
Hiromu Takahashi (c) vs. Lio Rush
Hiromu Takahashi & Lio Rush immediately traded forearm shots. Rush hits a snap suplex for a near fall then they went to the floor, where Takahashi powerbombs him on the ring apron then hits a Death Valley Driver into the guardrail in the ring, Takahashi was in control, applying a leglock around Rush’s head. They went back to the floor, where Takahashi hits a snap suplex.
In the ring they traded slaps to the face, but Rush is selling a lower back injury. Rush hits a flying clothesline, then a dive through the ropes, barreling onto Takahashi, then a 2nd rope twisting Asai moonsault and they were both down on the floor. Back in the ring, Rush hit a stunner and was fired up. Takahashi hits a pop up powerbomb. Rush hits an Poison Rana then the Rush Hour for a near fall and they were both down.
Rush nails Final Hour onto Takahashi’s back then he went for another one but this time Takahashi got his knees up to block it. Takahashi nails Time Bomb for a near fall and they were both down. Takahashi nails him with a superkick before they hit simultaneous clotheslines and were both down. Rush hits a mid ring Spanish Fly for a near fall. Rush hits a Fishermans Michinoku Driver for a near fall.
Takahashi hits a release belly 2 belly tossing Rush into the turnbuckles then he hits a side slam for a near fall. Rush caught him with a superkick. Rush nails Direct Drive but he misses Final Hour then Takahashi nails a Dynamite Plunger that only gets a near fall. He then nails a clothesline and Time Bomb 2 for the victory.

After the match Television Champion Zack Sabre Jr came to ringside. He said the newest member of TMDK would be Takahashi’s next challenger. On the video screen, the camera slowly scrolls up to reveal it is Robbie Eagles then ZSJ left then Takahashi got on the mic and said he thought ZSJ was going to challenge him and he jokes that anyone who can get a video to a producer can apparently get a Junior Heavyweight Title shot but he accepted the challenge.
Finals Of The 2023 New Japan Cup
Sanada vs. David Finlay
We get a lock up to kick this match off before Sanada hits a dropkick that sends David Finlay then Finlay hits Finlay Roll on the floor and he took control in the ring, applying a Cobra Clutch on the mat. Sanada hits a back suplex and they were both down. Sanada hit another dropkick that again sends Finlay to the floor, so Sanada hit a plancha on him.
Finlay slams Sanada’s back into the guardrail and he was back in charge. In the ring he stood behind Sanada and hit some crossface blows. Sanada nails a TKO stunner, and they were both down then they traded European uppercuts. Sanada locks in Skull End and sat down on the mat then he went for the top rope moonsault but Finlay got his knees up. Finlay hits a uranage over his knee for a near fall then a Dominator for a near fall.
Sanada hits a pop up stunner then a butterfly suplex for a near fall. He hit a top rope moonsault for a near fall. Finlay hits a sit down stunner for a near fall then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb then a spear for a near fall. Finlay set up for Trash Panda but Sanada escaped and again locks in Skull End.
Sanada set up for Blade Runner DDT but Finlay escapes then he hits a roaring elbow as their heads collided. Finlay again set up for Trash Panda but Sanada blocks it and Sanada nails Blade Runner turn into a DDT for the win.

After the match Sanada was presented the New Japan Cup Trophy then Sanada gets on the mic, saying I won my 1st New Japan Cup right here in my hometown then he calls out Okada. Okada came to the ring and congratulated him but he added that changing his hair style wouldn’t help him win then Okada left Sanada vowed to win the IWGP World Heavyweight Title. The confetti cannon went off to cover Sanada in streamers to end the show.
