Following a promotional segment that she, Toni Storm, and Ruby Soho did on Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Saraya found herself in hot water. Saraya promised they would demonstrate to everyone that AEW is their home. They are essential to the existence of the women’s division. The fans, according to her, are “neck beard stinky twats.”
Jamie Hayter and Britt Baker came out to attack them, but the heels ultimately won due to the numbers game. Riho ran out with Nightingale and Blue to chase off The Outcasts.
Saraya explained she was fined for using a banned word during the show, but she didn’t regret it.
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the fine money was donated to the AEW Together project, and she expressed her regret privately.
She received a “fine for profanity and using a middle finger without informing the coach of the segment,” according to an email from AEW to talent.
Additionally, the promotion discouraged performers from body-shaming spectators and flipping them off.
The company has come under fire from some for allowing wrestlers to yell at fans excessively during shows. AEW World Heavyweight Champion MJF is well known for doing a lot of this.
Ace Steel, a former AEW producer, was penalized last August for swearing on television. The money was also donated to charity in this instance.
