WWE RAW Women’s Champion Bianca Belair recently spoke with Ryan Satin’s “Out of Character” podcast for an in-depth interview covering all things pro wrestling. During the discussion, Belair talked about John Cena helping her deal with her loss of the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Becky Lynch in 26 seconds at SummerSlam 2021:

“Sometimes when you think it can be the worst thing that’s happening, and then it flourishes into this beautiful year long storyline, and it all comes full circle, and that’s what it did for me. But in the moment, it can be tough. That 26 second moment was tough for me. I remember going to my husband. We always allow each other to vent. Then we’re like,’ Okay, I’m validating your feelings, but how do we get out of this? Like, we can’t stay here in this mindset. Let’s look at the bigger picture.’ Then John Cena was there. He pulled me aside and he talked to me. He really helped me with my perspective of that, and it’s going to carry with me for the rest of my career.”

Her new reality show:

“We are actually starting filming at Royal Rumble. That’s going to be our first episode, and it’s happening. I’m excited, but I’m nervous. I never thought I’d be someone to do a reality series type of thing. But I’m excited for people to see you know, they see us inside the ring, and I’m excited for them to see how we are outside the ring. You know, my husband, we’re like best friends and homies, and we just try to find the fun in everything. He’s wild and crazy. The guy that y’all see in the ring is who I get 24/7. Our family is such a huge part of what we do. They’re always there, so they’re going to be a part of it. We’re just going to have fun. We just want to have fun with it and bring joy and light and love and just something fun to the world. You’re gonna get a mix between wrestling and some stuff backstage behind the scenes and our home life.”
