Mercedes Moné was feeling “every emotion” before making her NJPW debut at last week’s Wrestle Kingdom 17 pay-per-view event.

Moné attacked KAIRI during her first appearance at a wrestling event since walking out of the May 16, 2022 episode of WWE RAW.

Dax Harwood, who also appeared at Wrestle Kingdom 17, spoke about her debut on the FTR podcast. He stated, “She was proud, nervous, excited, scared, all of the emotions, you know? She hit this finishing move and nobody knows what that was. Nobody knows how it felt.”

Harwood also praised his friend’s path to NJPW, saying she did things her way. He went on to say, “How proud she was in that moment and how nervous she was walking down the aisle, like, everyone can relate to that and I know that she was so proud of herself because she did it her way. She stood up for what she believed in.”

Moné will face KAIRI for the IWGP Women’s Championship on February 18 at NJPW Battle in the Valley.
