According to reports, WWE is considering granting a significant request for Logan Paul.
Paul os reportedly scheduled to face John Cena at WrestleMania 39 in April, according to WrestlingNews.co.
Paul vs. Cena is expected to take place on The Grandest Stage of Them All, live from SoFi Stadium in Hollywood, barring any injuries or other incidents. There is no word yet on how WWE plans to set up the match.
Midway through November, Paul revealed on his “Impaulsive” podcast that he texted WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H about the possibility of facing John Cena at WrestleMania 39. You can read Paul’s comments, who thinks a fight between him and Cena would “break the internet,” by clicking here.
The Cena match would be Paul’s fourth match in the WWE. He defeated The Mysterios in his WrestleMania 38 debut match with The Miz, and this past July, he defeated The Miz at SummerSlam. Paul then squared off against Roman Reigns, the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, at Crown Jewel in November.
On tonight’s episode of SmackDown in Tampa, Cena will make his return to the ring alongside Kevin Owens to take on Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn. There have been rumors that Cena might have a WrestleMania 39 match after tonight’s show, but nothing has been confirmed.
The first night of WrestleMania 39 will occur on April 1. Paul will turn 38 on that day.
