WWE is considering a new championship belt for the RAW or SmackDown men’s divisions.
WWE reportedly wants a top title for each brand heading into the summer.
According to Dave Meltzer’s latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, “there remains a lot of talk of creating a second title for RAW (or SmackDown if they switch brands with [Roman] Reigns or if someone beats Reigns) in 2023.”
Reigns will almost certainly enter WrestleMania 39 as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion. According to recent reports, WWE is considering having him work both nights of the two-night event.
It’s no secret that WWE wants The Rock to return for a match with Reigns, and the speculation is that if WWE can’t get The Rock or if Reigns works back-to-back nights, Cody Rhodes will face Reigns at WrestleMania.
