It’s Friday night, and you know what that means …
All Elite Wrestling returns from the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, IN. with the latest installment of their one-hour AEW on TNT program, AEW Rampage.
On tap for tonight’s AEW Rampage is Orange Cassidy vs. QT Marshall in a lumberjack match for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship, Darby Allin vs. Cole Karter, as well as Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Private Party.
Also scheduled for the show is Renee Paquette’s sit-down interview with Saraya, Swerve In Our Glory will appear and “The Fallen Goddess” Athena will be in action.

AEW RAMPAGE RESULTS (12/2/2022)
The “This is Rampage, baby!” theme hits and the accompanying video plays to get this week’s edition of AEW Rampage off-and-running on TNT.
We shoot inside the Indiana Farmers Coliseum in Indianapolis, IN. where the commentators welcome us to the show. We then head down to the ring for our first match of the evening.
Darby Allin vs. Cole Karter
Darby Allin makes his way out to square off against Cole Karter in our opening match. He has the famous baseball bat of his friend “The Icon” Sting and he does the Sting-style bat point to Karter, who is already in the ring.
The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with our first bout of the evening. We see Allin get off to a good start, taking it to Karter and dominating the early action. After this continues for a couple of minutes, we see Karter start to shift the offensive momentum into his favor.
Karter beats down Allin in the corner of the ring as the commentators sing his praises for being a rookie, two-year veteran that has an incredible upside with a ton of promise. Karter blasts Allin with repeated knee strikes as we head into a mid-match commercial break.
As we settle back in from the break, we see Karter still very much in control of the action as he dominates Allin in the ring after working him over on the floor at ringside. He focuses his attack on the knee and arm of the charismatic baby face as the crowd starts to rally behind him.
Allin takes the energy from the fans and begins to take back over. We see the action spill out to the floor, where Allin smashes Karter’s hand on the steel ring steps. Back inside the ring, Allin takes his intensity up a few notches and starts wildly windmill punching The Factory member.
Darby ends up getting caught by Karter, which gives The Factory member another run in the offensive driver’s seat. This doesn’t last long, however, as he misses a high spot off the top-rope, which allows Allin to take back over.
He smashes the softened up paw of Karter and then hits a Scorpion Death Drop before following up with his fan-friendly Coffin Drop finisher off the top-rope for the pin fall victory.

Shane Taylor Confronts Keith Lee, Shane Strickland Watches On
We shoot backstage where Renee Paquette is standing by with Keith Lee. Before Lee can say much of anything, in comes Shane Taylor to interrupt him.
He brings up the two having a storied history before emphasizing that Lee has a history on bailing on family and friends. He goes on to tout becoming the best ROH Television Champion of all-time after Lee exited his life and then issues a challenge for a tag-team match, with himself and JD Griffey against Lee.
He leaves after telling Lee he better find some help. Lee then turns and sees Shane “Swerve” Strickland standing right behind him with a giant smirk on his face.
Lee questions if he can even depend on Strickland. Strickland takes his sunglasses off and just stares at Lee. Lee shakes his head and walks off as we head to another commercial break.
Alex Reynolds & John Silver Criticize Preston Vance’s Recent Actions
We return to a vignette that shows Alex Reynolds and John Silver talking into the camera as highlights are shown of Preston Vance turning on The Dark Order and insulting the late Brodie Lee’s son, -1. They warn him that there will come a time where he has to face the two of them and answer for his actions.
The Acclaimed Offer Tag-Team Title Shot To Best Contenders In AEW
From there, we shoot back inside the Indiana Farmers Coliseum where the familiar sounds of The Acclaimed’s theme song hits. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens make their way out accompanied by “Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn.
Caster does his freestyle rap with World Cup references and a diss to IMPACT Wrestling before settling inside the ring. The music cuts off and the fans break out into an enormously loud “Oh, scissor me, daddy!” chant.
From there, Caster and Bowens get on the microphone and begin to address the second best tag-team in the promotion. Before they can continue, the theme for The Gunn Club hits and out comes Austin and Colten, the sons of “Daddy Ass” himself.
They settle on the ramp with microphones and then the sounds of Jeff Jarrett’s theme hits. “The Last Cowboy” emerges accompanied by Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh. Dutt speaks on their behalf and tells The Acclaimed they’re going to have to face the greatest team of all-time.
After they finish talking, Billy Gunn gets on the mic and says they misheard them because what they said was, “we want the best.” On that note, FTR’s theme hits and out comes the ROH, AAA and IWGP Tag-Team Champions, Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler.
FTR make their way down to the ring. Once they step inside the squared circle, they engage in a brief stare-down with the AEW Tag-Team Champions, The Acclaimed. The two teams shake hands and then FTR exits the ring to end the segment.
The Bunny, Hikaru Shida Trade Words Ahead Of Title Showdown
The Bunny and Hikaru Shida trade words in a vignette designed to promote an upcoming one-on-one showdown between the two. The Bunny talks about being bitter having to sit back and watch Shida get opportunities that she worked hard for and had to give up while on the sidelines recovering. The two will meet in a future showdown for the Di Wave Championship.
Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal vs. Private Party
Now we head back inside the Indiana Farmers Coliseum where the theme song for Private Party hits. Out comes the team of Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen, accompanied by Matt Hardy.
They settle into the ring where their opponents, Jeff Jarrett and Jay Lethal, are ready and waiting, with Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh in their corner. Hardy has a quick word with Kassidy and Quen and then exits the ring, remaining in the corner at ringside.
After that, we hear the bell sound to get this tag-team contest off-and-running. We see some solid back-and-forth action here in the early goings of the bout. As the heel duo of Jarrett and Dutt start to settle into the offensive driver’s seats, we shift gears and head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
When we return from the break, we see Jarrett still working over Kassidy in the ring as the commentators talk about this being a one-sided affair thus far. Moments after they make that comment, we see Kassidy catch Jarrett with a shot.
Kassidy then takes the opportunity to make the much-needed tag to Quen. Quen comes in with a ton of energy off the hot-tag and shifts the momentum into the favor of Private Party. He takes it to Jarrett and Lethal.
This doesn’t last for long, however, as we see some smart tag-team tactics used by the heel duo, which leads to Jarrett hitting his Stroke finisher. Lethal follows it up with his Lethal Injection finisher for the pin fall victory.

Renee Paquette Sits Down With Saraya
Once the tag-team contest wraps up, we shoot to Renee Paquette, who is sitting down for her advertised one-on-one discussion with Saraya.
The former WWE Superstar known as Paige talks about her first match in All Elite Wrestling at AEW Full Gear 2022. Saraya talks about the significance of her big win over Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. at the aforementioned pay-per-view.
She then brings up how emotional her lifelong wrestling fan brother, who was sitting in the front row, was when she won in her long-awaited return to the ring.
From there, Saraya talks about Jamie Hayter capturing the AEW Women’s Championship at the same PPV. This leads to her talking about how the interim title tag was removed.
This was done due to the uncertainty of the timetable of the return of the former title-holder, Thunder Rosa. She says the two will meet up sooner than later and then the segment wraps up.
Athena vs. Dani Mo
We head back inside the arena where women’s wrestling prospect Dani “Dyno-Mite” is already in the ring waiting for the entrance of her scheduled opponent here on AEW Rampage.
On that note, the theme for Athena hits and “The Fallen Goddess” makes her way out to the ring. The commentators talk about her recent change-in-personality after her heel turn and trend of post-match attacks in her 12-match win-streak, which she is riding heading into this contest.
The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this one, which doesn’t last long at all. Athena dominates Dani straight out of the gate en route to an easy, fast, squash-match victory to improve her recent win-streak to 13 straight victories.
Once again we see Athena do an unnecessary post-match beat down of her opponent. A ton of officials hit the ring but keep a respectable distance. Mercedes Martinez makes her way out and the two stare each other down.

Juice Robinson Challenges Samoa Joe For TV Title At ROH Final Battle
From there, we shoot to a video package that sees Juice Robinson talking into the camera. He sends a message to “The King of TV” Samoa Joe to hype their showdown for the ROH Television Championship at the upcoming ROH Final Battle 2022 pay-per-view.
AEW All-Atlantic Championship LumberJack Match
Orange Cassidy (C) vs. QT Marshall
Now we head to the weekly pre-main event, split-screen interview hosted by Mark Henry. “The World’s Strongest Man” introduces his guests at this time.
On one side of the screen we see AEW All-Atlantic Champion Orange Cassidy with The Best Friends and Danhausen standing by his side. On the other side, we see QT Marshall and two members of The Factory.
The Factory trio are critical of Danhausen making a joke out of how the “Freshly Squeezed” one is about to lose his title. Danhausen gives a comedic response and then Henry goes to wrap things up.
QT Marshall and The Factory members mention that they weren’t done talking and ask for two more seconds, only for Henry to continue his catchphrase to wrap up the interview segment.
From there, we shoot back inside the arena where we see the LumberJacks surrounding the ring for our main event of the evening here on AEW Rampage. On that note, the theme for QT Marshall hits and out he comes looking ready for his first title opportunity in AEW.
After that, the familiar sounds of the theme song for Orange Cassidy hits. The reigning, defending AEW All-Atlantic Champion emerges and heads to the squared circle for his latest title defense in our LumberJack main event of the evening.
The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this one, which sees Cassidy as cool as a cucumber as always, standing with his hands in his pockets and his sunglasses on. Marshall steps up to him and then we see this one get underway..
We see some back-and-forth action, with a few trips to the outside for each guy. The LumberJacks throw them back in and the battle for the AEW All-Atlantic Championship continues with Marshall starting to settle into the offensive lead.
On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial break as our headline bout on AEW Rampage continues. When we return from the break, we see Marshall still in a firm offensive lead. We also see QT Marshall spike Danhausen on the steel ring steps with a pile driver.
This doesn’t last for long, however, as the “Freshly Squeezed” one starts fighting from underneath and ultimately, back into the offensive driver’s seat. After hanging on following a Diamond Cutter attempt, Allin amps up.
He brings his raging energy into the fight, taking it to Marshall. Cassidy goes for and connects with his Beach Break semi-finisher, which pops the crowd in Indianapolis. The camera shot switches to show a brawl breaking out at ringside among the LumberJacks.
Marshall cuts Cassidy’s offensive run short thanks to an assist from Kip Sabian, but before he can mount much of an offense of his own, Cassidy shifts thing back into his favor. He puts an exclamation point on this one by connecting with his Orange Punch for the pin fall victory.

The House Of Black Brawl Wraps Up This Week’s Show
Once the match wraps up, we see Cassidy dive from the ring to the floor, splashing onto Sabian. Sabian ends up getting some assistance in beating down the AEW All-Atlantic Champion.
As the beat down continues, the lights in the Indiana Farmers Coliseum go out. When they come back on, The House of Black are standing in the ring. Brody King, Buddy Matthews and Malakai Black, fresh off of his AEW return on Dynamite, begin a big brawl.
The group beats down everybody in sight as Julia Hart watches on. The brawl starts in the ring but spreads to the floor at ringside. It continues as the clock ticks down. Excalibur ends up wrapping things up and taking the show off-the-air as the brawl continues. That will do it for this week’s show. Thanks for joining us!
