It’s Wednesday night, and you know what that means …
All Elite Wrestling returns from Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts for the latest edition of AEW Dynamite, as the road to AEW Full Gear 2022 continues.
On tap for tonight’s show is the latest from Jon Moxley and MJF ahead of their title-tilt at AEW Full Gear 2022, a big eight-man tag-team match pitting The Acclaimed & FTR against Swerve in our Glory & The Gunn Club, as well as Bryan Danielson vs. Sammy Guevara in a two-out-of-three falls match.
Also scheduled for the program this evening is Eddie Kingston vs. Ethan Page in an AEW title eliminator tournament bout, Skye Blue vs. Jamie Hayter and Tony Schiavone hosts a sit-down between Saraya and Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.

AEW DYNAMITE RESULTS (11/9/2022)
This week’s show kicks off with the regular Dynamite theme song and then we shoot live inside Agganis Arena in Boston, Massachusetts where the commentators welcome us to the show and we head down to the ring for our opener.
The Gunn Club & Swerve In Our Glory vs. The Acclaimed & FTR
Kicking things off on this week’s show, which marks the second-to-last episode of the weekly program heading into the highly-anticipated AEW Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on November 19 is a big eight-man tag-team action.
Stokely Hathaway and W. Morrissey come out with one-half of the first team, as The Gunn Club of Austin and Colten Gunn make their way down to the squared circle. They settle inside and then the duo of Swerve in our Glory — Shane “Swerve” Strickland and Keith Lee make their way out and head down to the ring as well.
With the first four-man team in the ring and ready, the music for the first-half of their opponents plays. Out comes the ROH, AAA and IWGP Tag-Team Champions, FTR — Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler. The gold-toting duo make their way out and head to the ring to a huge pop. Their partners, The Acclaimed — Max Caster and Anthony Bowens — make their way out to the biggest pop thus far.
“Daddy Ass” Billy Gunn accompanies the AEW World Tag-Team Champions as they head to the ring. Caster does a freestyle rap including disses on Tom Brady, Hershel Walker and Kyrie Irvin. He closes with a “two snakes and the ass boys” line and then passes the mic off to Bowens, who does his “The Acclaimed have arrived!” line, but before he can do a scissor-me line, we see Gunn sprinting from the back and into the ring.
Gunn double-leg dives Swerve down and starts swinging away until AEW security pull him off and send him to the back. The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with our first match of the evening. Dax Harwood and Colten Gunn kick things off for their respective teams.
“Oh scissor-me, daddy!” chants break out from the fans in Boston as Gunn takes it to Harwood in the corner of the ring. Excalbiur reads off a Draft Kings live ad-read as Harwood takes over on offense. Austin tags in and Harwood continues to control the action against the other member of The Gunn Club. Both guys hit the ring and Harwood handles both of them by himself.
He eventually tags in Cash Wheeler, who picks up where he left off until he is floored by a big back-elbow from Austin, who follows up by tagging in Swerve. Strickland hits the ring with a ton of energy and he immediately starts taking it to Wheeler with big, vicious strikes.
Wheeler hits a tilt-a-whirl back-breaker to slow down his momentum and then tags in “Platinum” Max Caster. Caster works over Swerve but is eventually tripped down. Swerve heads over and tags in Keith Lee, who was hesitant to take the tag and was also noticeably upset with Strickland during their ring entrance at the start of the contest.
We see all four members of the babyface duo on top of their opposition in the four corners of the ring. They do the ten punch spot as the fans count along with each shot that lands. They eventually clear the ring of all four opponents.
The Acclaimed do their “scissor-me” gesture and then we see The Acclaimed and FTR staring each other down as their opponents recover outside the ring. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
As we settle back in from the break, we see some more back-and-forth offense, with The Gunn Club hitting a Big Rig for a close near fall before the babyface foursome begin to shift the offensive momentum back into their favor.
We ride this momentum into the finish, which sees Max Caster connect with a big Mic Drop off the top-rope before we see a Big Rig follow-up. From there, we get the one, two and three and see The Acclaimed and FTR pull off the victory in a great opening contest.

MJF Addresses The Firm’s Attack, Jon Moxley Match At Full Gear
We shoot to a video where we see MJF on a podcast doing an interview. He talks to the camera with a special message.
He talks about being attacked by The Firm and Stokely Hathaway the last time we saw him. He mentions how he has been on the sidelines and has been cautioned by medic professionals not to return to the ring and to take it easy.
MJF mentions how he will still be inside the squared circle and under the bright lights at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey on November 19, 2022 at AEW Full Gear 2022. He will be standing across the ring from AEW World Champion Jon Moxley.
Friedman says it’s the biggest match in his career and the biggest match in AEW history. He says he doesn’t like Moxley, and thinks he’s a scumbag from the slums of Cincinnati. He says he does respect him, however, as he made the towns and worked his way to the top from the very bottom and made it all the way to the top of the mountain by becoming the best pro wrestler in the world.
Despite all of that, when he shows up at Full Gear, MJF vows that he is the one who is going to get his hand raised and accomplish his destiny — becoming the AEW World Champion. He guarantees that he will do so without the use of the Dynamite Diamond Ring and mentions how William Regal backed the wrong horse.
We head to a quick Draft Kings spot after this and then head to another commercial break.
AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament
“All Ego” Ethan Page vs. Eddie Kingston
As we settle back in from the break, we return live inside Agganis Arena in Boston, MA. and head back to the ring for our second match of the evening. This will be the first match in the AEW World Championship Eliminator Tournament.
With that said, we hear the familiar sounds of “All Ego” Ethan Page’s theme music and out he comes accompanied by Stokely Hathaway. The Firm member settles inside the ring and his music dies down.
Now the entrance tune for Eddie Kingston plays. “The Mad King” emerges from the back and begins walking to the ring with a purpose as the fans in Boston give Kingston a big pop. The commentators talk about the storied rivalry between these two, pre-dating their AEW careers.
The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this one. We see some good opening action from these two and then “All Ego” Ethan Page starts to shift the momentum in his favor. Page begins taking over on offense and settles into a comfortable lead as we head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
We’re back from the break and we see Kingston still on the defensive, however he begins fighting from underneath and is getting closer-and-closer to making an offensive comeback. He finally hits a big exploder back suplex.
He locks in the stretch-plum and Page even taps out, however the referee didn’t see this because he had his back turned and was dealing with Stokely Hathaway on the apron. Kingston lets go and heads over and then turns around into a big kick from Page that decks him. Page heads to the top-rope while Kingston is laid out.
As Page reaches the top-rope, Kingston springs back to life and runs over and hits Page. He then climbs up after him and starts biting Page on the face. Page escapes and with Kingston sitting backwards on the top turnbuckle, Page climbs up facing the opposite way.
He hooks the arms of Kingston and hits an Avalanche Eagle’s Edge for the 1-2-3. With the win, “All Ego” Ethan Page advances in the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament, becoming the first man to enter the semifinals. He will face the winner of Bandido and Rush, who square off in another first-round match this Friday night on AEW Rampage.

RUSH, Bandido To Square Off In Tourney Bout On AEW Rampage
We shoot to a quick backstage segment where RUSH and Bandido talk about being in the next first-round match in the ongoing AEW Championship Eliminator Tournament.
They will meet in an opening round contest on this Friday’s edition of AEW Rampage, with the winner moving on to face Ethan Page in the semifinals. The segment ends with RUSH being called a “RUSH-bag,” ya know, like a douchebag. Nice.
TNT Championship
Ari Daivari vs. Wardlow
We head back to the ring where Ari Daivari and his butler are in the ring. Daivari cuts a promo offering the services of said-butler until he is interrupted by the familiar sounds of the entrance theme song of TNT Champion Wardlow.
One-half of the WarJoe duo along with ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe makes his way down to the ring. He takes out the butler and then begins going to work on Daivari as the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running.
Wardlow beats down Daivari with ease in just a couple of seconds and only a few seconds later we see the first powerbomb in his powerbomb symphony. He hits a few more and then scores the pin fall victory on Daivari, picking up the easy squash match victory here on Dynamite.

After The Match: Wardlow Calls Out Powerhouse Hobbs, Samoa Joe Turns Heel
Once the match wraps up, we see Wardlow get on the microphone. He calls out Powerhouse Hobbs. Hobbs comes out and stands at the top of the entrance ramp. Wardlow tells Hobbs he’s glad to finally have a worthy contender and challenger for his TNT Championship.
He says he will still beat him and retain his TNT title and says for that matter, he will take every title in AEW. He thanks Hobbs for being a man and facing him this time. Before he can say anything else, Wardlow is ambushed and attacked from behind by his WarJoe tag-team partner, Samoa Joe.
Joe knocks him down and then jumps on him and sinks in his choke-finisher. He chokes out the TNT Champion to the shock of the fans in Boston and the commentators sell it big. After he chokes out Wardlow he stands up and we see he and Hobbs jawing at each other. From there, we head to another commercial break.
Jade Cargill With A Message For Nyla Rose
We return from the break and see Renee Paquette standing by in the interview zone with “That B*tch” herself, Jade Cargill. Cargill also has The Baddies with her. She is not in a good mood this week and angrily addresses Nyla Rose.
She makes it clear that if Rose is in the area this Friday night at AEW Rampage, she is going to handle her and get back what is rightfully hers — the TBS Women’s Championship. She walks off and The Baddies follow behind her to end the quick interview segment.
Tony Schiavone Sits Down With Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. & Saraya
Now we head inside the ring where Tony Schiavone is standing by. He introduces his first of two guests at this time — Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. The former AEW Women’s Champion makes her way out to a nice pop and heads to the ring.
She settles inside the ring and her music dies down. Now Schiavone introduces his second guest, the one-and-only Saraya. The former WWE Superstar known as Paige makes her way out to a big pop and heads to the ring.
Saraya starts off by saying she is sure everyone is wondering whether or not she will be wrestling or not wrestling in AEW. She says she recently underwent MRIs, CT Scans and other tests and is happy to announce that she is officially cleared to return to the ring.
Saraya tears up and gets emotional as she gets in Baker’s face and loudly shrieks, “AEW is my house!”
Baker begins responding by saying it’s official that there is nothing more fickle than an AEW fan. She then questions whether or not Saraya remembers how to do this. She then boasts being responsible for building up AEW.
She says she’s a big part of the reason that wrestlers like her … then corrects herself and says, “I mean, Superstars like you” (the crowd “ooh’s and ahh’s”) wanted to and eventually starting coming to AEW. She says that’s why she takes it personal when someone like her skips onto the scene and has the audacity to say something like, “this is my house!”
Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D. says it’s apparent that Saraya walked out of her house and walked into hers. She says she regrets to inform her that they don’t take walk-ins and then says, “so bitch, make an appointment!”
Saraya responds and says Baker was handed her career by Tony Khan and says she’s only been in the spotlight for three years. She says she’s been in the business for 30 years and a professional for 17 and says Baker doesn’t know what it takes to be a Superstar — or even a star.
She says she worked all over Europe for free and then mentions working in MSG and the Tokyo Dome and now finds herself in front of an ungrateful bitch. She talks about being humiliated in front of millions of people and battling her drug addiction publicly.
She says she has given her neck and career for this business. She tells Baker she doesn’t have a clue how to make it. She says here’s another big milestone being served up on a silver platter for her and then declares it will be she and Britt Baker going one-on-one at AEW Full Gear.
Saraya drops the mic and smirks at Baker, who looks unsure what to say, which the commentators point out. She eventually loses her cool and in frustration, runs over and tries sneak-attacking Saraya, only for Saraya to counter her attempt and connect with her finisher.
She grabs the mic again and while Baker is laid out, Saraya yells again in Baker’s face, “this is my house!” Her theme plays again to end an excellent segment featuring these two.
QT Marshall, Jay Lethal & Co. Get Confronted By Orange Cassidy & Best Friends
In an earlier today segment, we see QT Marshall speaking with Jay Lethal, Sonjay Dutt and Satnam Singh when in walks Orange Cassidy and Danhausen. Danhausen complains about them ruining his Halloween.
Marshall begins talking and Orange Cassidy cuts in and says he accepts his challenge before walking off. Now we hear The Best Friends taunting the aforementioned trio of Lethal, Dutt and Singh. Eventually we hear Trent Baretta challenging Jay Lethal to a showdown tonight.
Trent Baretta vs. Jay Lethal
From there, we hear the familiar sounds of the entrance music of The Best Friends and out comes Trent Baretta. He gets attacked from behind as he is making his entrance by Jay Lethal. The fight is on between these two.
The two duke it out as they make their way down to the ringside area and eventually inside the ring where the bell sounds to get this one off-and-running. We see some good back-and-forth action between these two and then Lethal starts to settle into the offensive lead.
Lethal pummels Trent with big elbows and then the action spills out to the floor as we also see Danhausen making his way out from the back. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the action continues.
As we settle back in from the break, we see Lethal coming off the top with a big high-spot that connects. Trent eventually starts fighting back, blasting Lethal with big chops before hitting a big back-suplex.
Trent hits a crazy half-and-half off the top-rope that pops the house big-time in Boston. He follows that up with a running knee. We then see Danhausen on the apron duking it out with Sonjay Dutt until he is headbutted by the massive Satnam Singh.
After this, we see Lethal hit his Lethal Injection finisher and score the pin fall victory, earning the win over Trent Baretta of The Best Friends.

Jeff Jarrett Takes Shots At WWE, Mentions History With Lethal, Dutt & Singh
Once the match wraps up, we hear Tony Schiavone try and catch a quick interview with the heel trio, only for Sonjay Dutt to snatch the microphone from him. He orders Schiavone to sit down and says he’s got this.
Dutt boasts bringing in Jeff Jarrett last week on the show and notes how he delivers on his promises. He then brings out “The Last Outlaw” and comes out wearing all black and holding a guitar.
Jarrett boasts garnering one million-plus views for the video of his debut on last week’s show and then goes on to explain how he is friends with Dutt, Lethal and Singh. He breaks down Lethal’s decorated history in ROH and notes how he has wins over Ric Flair and Sting and mentions how he signed Lethal to his first contract in the business.
He mentions Dutt having a 180-plus IQ score and says that’s enough to say by itself. He then has the camera pan Singh from his feet up and touts him being a 7’5” legit giant and one who is the first ever to play in the NBA being born and raised in India.
He plugs his Netflix special and then mentions how he isn’t a red-pants wearing faux giant like the one in the “banana-nosed led circus,” with that being an obvious shot at Paul “Triple H” Levesque and WWE.
He then gets told by a producer off-camera to wrap up and demands that he never try and wrap him up again. Jarrett mentions putting Darby Allin in a body bag last week and vows he will do the same to Sting. He chases after the producer with a guitar to end the segment.
Jon Moxley Explains How MJF Reminds He And William Regal Of Himself
Now we hear the “Wild Thing” theme playing as AEW World Champion Jon Moxley emerges. He heads to the ring accompanied by Blackpool Combat Club member William Regal. They settle into the ring and the music dies down.
Mox tells a story about his early days trying to pick a fight with Regal and notes how it didn’t turn out well for him. He says Regal beat him down and tortured him and mentions that he eventually got him back and knocked him out and ripped the ear off the side of his head.
Jon Moxley goes on to say how Regal finally took him under his wing and told him, “Now the real work begins!” He asks Regal who that young Moxley reminds him off. Regal says, “MJF.” Mox agrees.
He goes on to talk about the first time he fought MJF inside the squared circle. He mentions some of the good things about him and then mentions some of the bad, such as his fake gold ring and clothes that his mom bought him from JC Penny’s.
Mox mentions how MJF calls himself “The Devil.” He says he’s been around some bad dudes who have done some bad things and he’s seen more than most before concluding, “Dude, you ain’t the devil.” He goes on to tell MJF, much like Regal told a young Moxley, that everything he has done up until now has been easy. The hard part begins at AEW Full Gear 2022.
The Elite Returning At AEW Full Gear 2022
Speaking of AEW Full Gear 2022 on November 19 from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, before we head to another commercial break, an awesome video package airs that hypes the long-awaited return of former AEW Trios Champions The Young Bucks and Kenny Omega at the pay-per-view.
Bryan Danielson, Sammy Guevara Hype 2-Out-Of 3 Falls Showdown
We return from a break to a worked up Bryan Danielson talking about why he is going to kick in Sammy Guevara’s face in their best two out of three falls rematch tonight on Dynamite. He mentions the disrespect he has dealt with in recent weeks from the likes of Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia and Wheeler Yuta, in addition to “The Spanish God” himself.
Guevara is also shown and claims he has the number of “The American Dragon” and feels like Danielson knows this. He vows things will be different when they meet in the ring tonight.
Jamie Hayter vs. Skye Blue
Now we head back inside Agganis Arena where Jamie Hayter’s theme plays and out she comes for our next match of the evening. Rebel accompanies Hayter as she settles in the ring.
The theme for her opponent plays and out comes Skye Blue. As Blue makes her way out, we see someone behind her, who is eventually seen to be interim AEW women’s champion Toni Storm.
With both ladies settled in the ring and the music died down, the bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with this match in the AEW women’s division. Hayter faces some tough offense from Blue early on, but ends up shifting the momentum in her favor just as we head to a mid-match commercial break.
As we settle back in from the break, we see Hayter still in control of the offense until Blue starts fighting back after connecting with a dropkick. We see some back-and-forth action from there until Hayter connects with an absolutely brutal rip-cord lariat for the pin fall victory.

“The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer Attacks Ricky Starks
We see a video package promoting Brian Cage vs. Dante Martin for Rampage and then return live backstage where Alex Marvez was supposed to be standing by with Ricky Starks. Instead we see “The Murderhawk Monster” Lance Archer holding Starks by his hair.
He slams him face-first into a garage door and continues beating him down while mentioning his plans to emerge victorious in the AEW World Championship Eliminator tournament. Marvez yells for someone to come help Starks to end the segment.
Best 2-Out-Of-3 Falls Match
Sammy Guevara vs. Bryan Danielson
Now we head back inside the arena in Boston as the familiar sounds of Sammy Guevara’s theme plays. “The Spanish God” emerges accompanied by Tay Melo. They do their big dip-and-kiss spot and then head to the ring.
The two settle inside the ring where Guevara looks ready for action in the main event of the evening here on AEW Dynamite. The music for Guevara dies down and her awaits the entrance of his opponent.
We hear the equally familiar sounds of the theme for Bryan Danielson and out comes “The American Dragon.” The Blackpool Combat Club member heads to the ring while William Regal settles in on special guest commentary.
The bell sounds and we’re off-and-running with our final match of the evening here on the second-to-last AEW Dynamite show leading up to the highly-anticipated AEW Full Gear 2022 pay-per-view. We see some fast-paced and intense back-and-forth action until Guevara is dumped out to the floor.
Danielson prepares for a ring-to-the-floor dive and splash onto Guevara, only to be blocked by Tay Melo, who stands in front of Guevara. Guevara eventually recovers and attacks Danielson from behind with a foreign object. Because of this, the ref calls for the bell and we hear Danielson is awarded the first fall due to Guevara being disqualified.
Winner of Fall No. 1 via DQ: Bryan Danielson
Fall No. 2
Guevara decides to get his money’s worth and continues pummeling Danielson with a microphone after the call is made. He heads to the ring as fans boo and break out into loud negative chants aimed at the J.A.S. member. On that note, we head to a mid-match commercial break as the main event of the evening continues.
We return from the break and see Guevara pummeling Danielson with repeated punches from the mount position inside the squared circle. The commentators show us replays and mention Guevara being DQ’d and Danielson winning the first fall as a result.
The second fall continues with Guevara in a comfortable offensive lead. He hoists Danielson up for the GTH and he connects. He goes for the cover and gets the three count. This earns him the win in the second fall and we’re now even 1-to-1 heading into the third and final fall.

Fall No. 3
The third and final fall is now officially underway after the referee checks on Danielson and allows him to return to his feet. As soon as he does, stumbling into the ropes to remain upright, we see Guevara charge across the ring and continue his assault.
We see Danielson on the top-rope and Guevara is up there with him looking to connect with a high spot. Instead, Danielson knocks him down. Guevara pops back up and tries leaping onto the top-rope but slips. He regains his footing and we see a wild high spot that pops the crowd.
As the action continues, we see Guevara sink in the LeBelle Lock on Danielson. Danielson struggles like crazy to get out. We see him, with a bloody nose now, stuck in the hold for what seems like forever until finally he escapes as we head to another mid-match commercial as our best two-out-of-three falls main event match continues.
When we return from the break, we see Tay Melo being ejected from ringside after putting her hands on the referee. Back in the ring, we see Danielson and Guevara both struggling to get back to their feet. The commentators point out the crimson mask that is now covering the grill of “The American Dragon.”
Danielson and Guevara start trading shots from their knees. They continue trading punches as they return to a vertical base. Danielson ends up getting Guevara hung upside down in the tree of woe. He looks like a psycho as he recovers and realizes he’s got Guevara where he wants him and his senses back.
With that said, Danielson begins a berzerk-mode level kick-fest on “The Spanish God,” blasting him with repeated “Yes!” kicks as the fans chant along as each shot lands. Guevara fights back and knocks Danielson out to the floor. He climbs to the top-rope and connects with an absolutely insane shooting star press onto Danielson on the floor.
The fans break out in a loud, “You still suck!” chant as he recovers, as he was hurt by his own move despite being the one who delivered it. The action resumes in the ring where Guevara tries a double-jump moonsault off the top-rope, only to be caught by Danielson on the way down.
Danielson now gets his LeBelle Lock on Guevara and begins yanking back with all of his strength. Guevara ends up escaping and the fight continues. Moments later, Danielson goes for his running knee, but instead finds himself stuck in the Walls of Jericho by Guevara. Danielson crawls to the ropes to force the hold to be broken.
We see Guevara go for the GTH, only for Danielson to escape and land on his feet. He hits the ropes and this time connects with his running knee. He has the win but instead decides to inflict more damage. Guevara ends up taking over instead and he begins beating down Danielson as the fans chant “This is awesome!”
Danielson fights back into the offensive lead seconds later and again gets his LeBelle Lock on Guevara, who eventually taps out. Danielson picks up the win in an epic best two-out-of-three falls main event here on AEW Dynamite.
“The American Dragon” celebrates his victory as the fans give him a standing ovation. Excalibur quickly plugs some upcoming AEW programming as this week’s show ends on that note. Thanks for joining us!
