To close out Friday night’s Rampage, AEW paid tribute to the late Brian Muster. The show concluded this week with a statement paying tribute to the video engineer, who died on Wednesday. You can watch the video below.
After the show, Jon Moxley and Tony Khan paid tribute to Muster, according to PWInsider. Moxley came out and talked about the memories, both good and bad, in the arena, then began pointing out different people who work for the company backstage and having them introduce themselves after Khan congratulated Orange Cassidy on his win and Wardlow spoke about how Daily’s Place is special to them because it’s home. He stated that AEW had a difficult week and discussed Muster’s death, describing him as a dear member of the AEW family. Moxley asked that everyone give it up for the crew, and then the In Memorium graphic appeared.
Khan finally mentioned Muster, who was an important member of AEW from the beginning. He asked that the fans chant Muster’s name and thanked them when they did.
A GoFundMe page has been set up for Muster’s family, which you can view and contribute by clicking here.
In a sweet post-Rampage moment, Best Friends, Danhausen, & Orange Cassidy hugged Brodie & Nolan with Wardlow, TK, & Ten. Even Moxley got in on it! ?
