Some local Canadian wrestling talent will be getting a look at the AEW taping this week in the region.
As noted, AEW Dynamite emanates from the Coca-Cola Coliseum in Toronto, Ontario, Canada this evening. Additionally, AEW will have their weekly Rampage show in the province, as well as a separate AEW Dark taping that will feature the usual lengthy lineup of matches.
Sean Ross Sapp of FightfulSelect.com is reporting that some local independent pro wrestling talent out of the area in Toronto will be getting used as extras at tonight’s Dynamite show, which kicks off on TBS at 8/7c.
Top local independent talent Jody Threat, and social media stars The Voros Twins, are among those expected to get a look by the promotion.
Threat, who worked a tryout match for WWE during SummerSlam week in 2019, and also helped Canadian WWE Hall of Fame legend Trish Stratus prepare for her latest in-ring return, is expected to work as an extra at tonight’s AEW Dynamite show.
Additionally, TikTok stars The Voros Twins are in the area and could be used in some form-or-fashion as well, as they shared a photo on social media of themselves hanging out with “The Ocho” himself, ROH World Champion Chris Jericho, on Tuesday.
