WWE Hires Horror Writer Who’s Behind White Rabbit QR Teasers

WWE has appointed its first Director of Longtime Creative.

According to a new report from Fightful Select, horror writer Rob Fee has recently joined the company as the Director of Longtime Creative, a full-time position. According to Fee’s LinkedIn profile, he began working for WWE in September.

Fee once proposed a film based on Bray Wyatt’s character “The Fiend.” The concept reportedly struck a chord with WWE executives and had the potential to be produced. However, Wyatt was fired shortly after the pitch in late July 2021, so the project was never completed.

Fee is reportedly working on the White Rabbit QR code teasers, specifically the campaign’s direction and production.

Fee is a longtime pro wrestling fan who is reportedly well-versed in the sport.

Fee has previously written for Marvel, including comics for Spider-Man, Daredevil, and The Avengers. He also served as the showrunner for several Disney shows, including 100 episodes of Player Select, a popular Disney XD show. Fee recently produced several series for Will Smith, including The Fresh Prince Reunion and the most-watched Snapchat series, Will From Home. He’s also worked as a producer on shows like The Ellen Show and MTV’s Ridiculousness.

Wyatt and John Morrison were among the wrestlers at Fee’s wedding earlier this year, as seen below, and he received a special video message from MJF.
