Mustafa Ali Says He Knows Why WWE Won’t Go “All In” With Him

Mustafa Ali has not yet benefited from the change in leadership in WWE, in which Triple H has taken over creative duties previously held by Vince McMahon. This is because Mustafa Ali is still being pushed in the same manner as he was while McMahon was in charge.

After getting into a heated argument with McMahon in November of last year, Ali was taken off the air for a while, but in April he made his return to television. Since his return to Raw, Ali hasn’t done much, but his matches on WWE Main Event have been well received by fans and critics alike.

A fan commented on a recent post by Ali in which he displayed footage of himself training in the ring. The fan wrote, “I will never understand why in the world WWE won’t go all in on Mustafa Ali. He is fantastic at promos, and has the in-ring talent to match …”

Ali responded by writing, “I know why. and I’ll knock that shit down too.” Ali hasn’t added any follow-up to this tweet.

On August 15th, he competed in his last Raw event and was involved in a tag team bout that he ultimately lost. This year, his record on television stands at 9-12. Last month, Ali revealed that WWE had at one point intended for him to use Hulk Hogan’s theme song.
