Your new NJPW NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Champions are House of Torture (EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO).
House of Torture won the NEVER Openweight Six-Man Tag Team Titles at Friday’s NJPW Burning Spirit tour event by defeating CHAOS (Hirooki Goto, YOH, YOSHI-HASHI) in a Tornado Dog Cage Survival Match.
EVIL pinned YOH after Goto and YOSHI-HASHI are locked in a dog cage. The former champions added a stipulation to the match that required keys to each of the ringside dog cages to be placed on the ring posts, and those keys could be used to free a teammate who had been locked away. House of Torture quickly took advantage, locking Goto and YOSHI-HASHI in the cage from the start. EVIL used his Everything Is Evil finisher to pin YOH.
This is House of Torture’s second title reign. CHAOS won the titles on July 5 at the New Japan Road event, defeating House of Torture and ending House of Torture’s first reign, which lasted 241 recognized days, with four successful title defenses. CHAOS held the belts for 80 days with no successful title defenses.
