Kicking off this weeks Impact with a recap of the Impact World Title #1 Contenders 6 Way Elimination Match from last week’s Impact where Eddie Edwards got the win last eliminated Rich Swann.

Knockouts Tag Team Title Match
VXT (c) vs. Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace & Mia Yim

Match starts off with Chelsea Green & Jordynne Grace locking up. They exchange submissions before Deonna Purrazzo tags in. Grace hits Purrazzo with a clothesline before Green tags back in. She delivers a DDT and Purrazzo tags in. Purrazzo hits Grace with a forearm and sends her into the corner before tagging in Green. Mia Yim tags in and delivers an insiguri to Green. She delivers a dropkick followed by a cannonball. She goes for a cover but Green kicks out. Yim delivers a chop before Green fires back with a pump kick.

Purrazzo tags back in and delivers several knees to Yim’s back. Purrazzo delivers a couple of splashes to Yim before she trips her and locks in a leg lock. Green tags in and goes for a pin but Yim kicks out. Green whips Yim’s face into the top turnbuckle before Purrazzo tags in. Yim sends her to the mat before Green tags her back in.

Green whips Yim into the corner before tagging in Purrazzo. Yim sends Purrazzo into the ring post shoulder first before making the hot tag to Grace. Grace takes Purrazzo down before hitting a spinebuster. She goes for a cover but Green breaks it up.

Green & Yim tag in before Yim delivers a suplex. She goes for a pin but Green kicks out. Grace tags in and delivers a chop to Green. Green delivers a back elbow to Green before Purrazzo tags back in and delivers a splash off the top. Grace delivers a gutwrench powerbomb, sending Green to the outside. Grace delivers a taupe suicida before tossing Purrazzo back into the ring. Green sends Grace’s face off the middle rope before delivering the Due Collector for the win.

Winners & Still Knockouts Tag Team Champions: VXT (STILL CHAMPIONS!!!)

We then head to a video of Violent By Design discussing Time Machine and how they will beat them later on tonight.

We come back from the break we see the Impact World Champion Josh Alexander getting ready for his match with Vincent later on tonight. Vincent approaches him and says that he sympathizes with Alexander. Alexander says he doesn’t like their mind games and says the only one that will need sympathy is him after he drops him on his head.

Matthew Rehwoldt & Tom Hannifan then runs down the card for the rest of the show.

Impact World Tag Team Champion Karl Anderson vs. Mike Bennett
If Karl Anderson wins Maria is banned from the Impact World Tag Team Title Match.

Karl Anderson sends Mike Bennett’s face into the top turnbuckle before delivering a chop. He delivers several stomps to Bennett, but Bennett fires back with a chop. Bennett whips Anderson into the corner but Anderson fires back with a clothesline. Anderson delivers a chop followed by a back elbow. Anderson clotheslines Bennett out of the ring and gloats.

After the break Bennett has Anderson in a chinlock. Bennett delivers a kick to Anderson’s knee followed by a forearm. He goes for a pin but Anderson kicks out. Bennett sends Anderson to the mat before whipping him into the corner. Bennett hits a thumb to Anderson’s eye before locking in another chinlock. Anderson delivers a forearm and a chop to Bennett before delivering an uppercut. Anderson follows it up with a couple of back elbows and a Rocket Kick. Anderson hits a kick to Bennett’s face but Bennett fires back with a forearm and a superkick. He goes for a pin but Anderson kicks out. Anderson sends Bennett face first into the middle turnbuckle before hitting a spinebuster. He goes for a pin but Bennett kicks out.

Maria Kanellis gets on the apron and distracts the referee. Matt Taven takes out Anderson, but Doc Gallows levels him & this allows Anderson to hit the Gun Stun for the win.

Winner: Impact World Tag Team Champion Karl Anderson (Since Anderson won Maria is banned from the Impact World Tag Team Title Match)

We follow the Good Brothers backstage and see them celebrating Anderson’s win. Scott D’Amore approaches them and he says he’s happy to see Gallows healthy again and is looking forward to their Impact World Tag Team Title defense. He says that the best team will be decided next week before Gallows says it will be a Magic Killer, a 1 2 3 and a Too Sweet. D’Amore tells them to shut up Honor No More before the 3 men separate.

We come back from the commercial break we see a video of Killer Kelly defeating Savannah Evans last week.

We head to Evans getting checked on by a doctor and Tasha Steelz asking the doctor how she is. He says that she has internal damage before Gia Miller approaches her and asks about Evans. She says she obviously isn’t doing well before Kelly comes out of nowhere and locks in the Killer Clutch. She says next time, she won’t be coming from behind.

Bhupinder Gujjar vs. Jason Hotch

Bhupinder Gujjar delivers a shoulder tackle before Jason Hotch fires back with an uppercut. He delivers a splash in the corner, followed by a jumping knee and a kick to Hotch’s head. He goes for a pin but Hotch gets his foot on the bottom rope. He delivers a chop to Hotch followed by a kick. He hits a spinebuster before hitting the Gargoyle Spear for the win.

Winner: Bhupinder Gujjar

After the match Digital Media Champion Brian Myers gets in the ring with a mic. He says he is a hell of an athlete and doesn’t know when he can give him another Digital Media Title shot. He says maybe right now before hitting him with a mic and following it up with a DDT. He pins Gujjar but because it isn’t a match, the referee Scott Armstrong doesn’t count it. Myers gets in his face before Gujjar hits the Gargoyle Spear. The referee counts to 3 before Gujjar grabs the Digital Media Title. Commentary makes it clear that this wasn’t a match as Gujjar retreats with the Digital Media Title.

We head backstage where the Knockouts Tag Team Champions VXT approaches Gail Kim. They say they are unstoppable and tell Kim to stop playing favoritism. Purrazzo demands to be named #1 Contender to the Knockouts Title but says that Masha Slamovich also deserves to be #1 Contender, as she has been on a roll. Kim says that Purrazzo will face Slamovich next week to determine who the new #1 Contender to the Knockouts Title will be.

We go backstage to see the referee Scott Armstrong & Bhupinder Gujjar. He says that while it was cool to see Gujjar put Myers in his place, it wasn’t a legit win and he needs the Digital Media Title back. Gujjar says Myers can come get his title before walking off.

Non Title Match
Impact World Champion Josh Alexander vs. Vincent

Vincent sends Josh Alexander into the corner. Alexander delivers a belly 2 belly before Vincent sends him off the middle rope. He follows it up with a side Russian leg sweep before hitting a Swanton Bomb off the top rope. He goes for a cover but Alexander kicks out.

Both men exchange chops before Vincent sends Alexander to the mat. Vincent delivers a forearm to Alexander before Alexander fires back with a German Suplex. He hits a forearm, followed by a back elbow. He delivers a kick to Vincent’s jaw before getting fired up. He locks in the Ankle Lock but Vincent makes it to the middle rope for a break. Vincent hits a knee, but Alexander manages to counter it into the C4 Spike for the win.

Winner: Impact World Champion Josh Alexander

After the match Eddie Edwards heads to the ring. He says that while he wasn’t pulling for him to win, he still respects him for winning. He says that just because they are opponents at Bound For Glory, doesn’t mean they need to be enemies. He says that the industry breaks down warriors like them and he has chosen his side. He says Honor No More has stood up to the industry and Impact Wrestling. He says the fans support the machine before asking which side Alexander will choose. He says they can go to battle at Bound For Glory but they can stand together and both will win. He tells Alexander to think about it before Heath comes out of nowhere and delivers the Wake Up Call.

We head backstage to Raj Singh & Shera saying they will head after every unturned stone before demanding respect.

We hear yelling and the camera pans to show Moose yelling at Steve Maclin for not sticking to the plan. Sami Callihan comes out of nowhere and attacks the two men with a trash can. The men spill to outside the arena before Moose & Maclin gain the upper hand. They beat him up against a fence before choking him out with barbed wire and wrapping him in it.

We get a video package of Masha Slamovich.

Jessicka vs. Alisha Edwards

Alisha Edwards hits Jessicka with a few forearms but Jessicka no sells it and hits Alisha with several vicious forearms. She delivers a body slam followed by a crossbody. She looks for a splash in the corner but Alisha moves out of the way. She climbs to the top and looks for a diving crossbody, but Jessicka catches her and delivers the Sick Driver for the win.

Winner: Jessicka

We head to the backstage area as we see Time Machine preparing for their 6 Man Tag Team match.

Back from the break, commentary runs down the card for next week’s show and reveals that Mickie James has a big announcement.

Sami Callihan comes crawling down to ringside wrapped in barbed wire. He addresses Moose & Steve Maclin before asking if they think it will keep him down. He says it’s just a normal Friday for him before challenging Moose & Maclin to a Barbed Wire Massacre match at Victory Road.

6 Man Tag Team Match
Time Machine vs. Violent By Design

Kushida & Joe Doering lock up to start this match off. Doering hits Kushida with a back elbow before hitting a shoulder tackle. Eric Young tags in and Kushida delivers a knee. Alex Shelley tags in before Young delivers a backbreaker. Deaner & Chris Sabin both tag in. Sabin delivers a dropkick to Deaner’s face before Deaner lays him on the top rope in the corner and delivers a knee. Doering tags in and Sabin hits a couple of right hands. Doering delivers a body slam then a rolling elbow. Deaner tags back in as we head to a commercial.

After the break Deaner delivers a chop to Sabin. Young tags in and delivers a Reverse Stunner to Sabin. He goes for a pin attempt but Sabin kicks out. Doering tags in and delivers a right hand to Sabin’s head. Deaner tags in and delivers a side Russian leg sweep. He goes for a pin, but Shelley and Kushida break it up. Young tags back in and delivers a kick to Sabin’s head. Doering tags in and delivers a boot to Sabin’s face. Young tags back in and delivers a side slam to Sabin. He goes for a pin but Sabin kicks out. Deaner tags in and chokes Sabin with his boot. Young tags back in and does the same. Deaner tags in and beats him down.

Sabin makes the hot tag to Kushida and he takes down Young with a springboard back elbow. Young hits a right hand on Kushida before tagging Deaner back in. Shelley tags in and delivers a back elbow to Deaner. Sabin tags in and delivers an armdrag to Deaner. He delivers a kick to his face before Time Machine delivers some triple offense to Deaner.

Violent By Design tries to get involved, but Time Splitters deliver a double baseball slide kick while Sabin hits a taupe suicida. Sabins throws Deaner back in the ring before ascending to the top. He hits an axe handle but Deaner counters into a pin. Sabin kicks out and hits a cutter. Deaner hits a back elbow before Young makes the blind tag.

Young delivers a piledriver then goes for a pin but Time Splitters break it up. Doering tags in and hits a slam. Deaner hits a diving headbutt before Young hits a big elbow. He goes for a pin, but Sabin kicks out. Sabin manages to hit a back body drop before Deaner tags in. He delivers several stomps to Sabin before Sabin knocks him to the mat. Time Machine delivers some triple offense again before Doering levels them. Time Machine manage to take him down before Sabin hits the Cradle Shock for the win.
