Many of you may have seen the NHL Network video last week where Kevin Owens surprised Vancouver Canucks head coach Bruce Boudreau.
The fact that Owens indicated he was prepared to make a comeback as soon as WWE was ready for him has caused speculation in the wrestling community. “It’s in their hands right now,” Owens said.
Owens has been sidelined due to a minor injury, but it appears that he will return to the ring at the very least by the end of this month.
Dave Meltzer stated during the Sunday Night’s Main Event podcast/radio show that he thinks Owens will return shortly. Meltzer said, “I know that he’s fine. My impression is [he’ll be back in] a few more weeks.”
Meltzer stated that he believes it was just a minor injury and unrelated to COVID-19. Owens was at odds with Ezekiel before suffering the injury. It appears that the feud is now over and when he returns, a new storyline will likely be introduced.
