It’s being proposed to air the following WWE NXT 2.0 special in late August.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, officials are tentatively scheduling the next major NXT 2.0 special for late August. August 20 and August 27 are being considered as prospective dates for the event.
When NXT 2.0 was launched last fall, the Takeover theme was no longer used by the company. On August 22, 2021, NXT Takeover 36 served as the last Takeover event. Since then, NXT has hosted In Your House in June, Stand & Deliver in April, and WarGames in December 2021.
There has been no word on the title of the August NXT special or the matches that will take place, but we will keep you updated.
