Officials from AEW and Stardom reportedly spoke about working together.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter has recently reported that there has been discussions between the companies. Although there are currently no agreements, there may be some news for the fans soon.
While there had never been any discussions between the two parties before, Stardom is now interested in booking shows with some of the AEW women’s division stars, notably Toni Storm.
After her previous run there from 2016 to 2018, Storm has also shown a desire to work for the promotion once more. She has held the World of Stardom title and SWA Undisputed World Women’s title.
For the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door pay-per-view, AEW President Tony Khan noted in June that he wanted to book some Stardom talent, but none were available.
Recently it was revealed that Stardom performers will now appear on NJPW events held in the United States.
