Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns apparently won’t be appearing on tonight’s SmackDown on FOX.

As PWMania.com previously reported, Reigns was advertised on the WWE Events website for tonight’s SmackDown from the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Even as recently as Thursday night, Reigns was still being advertised.

According to the WWE Events website, Reigns is no longer listed for tonight’s SmackDown.

He appeared to be scheduled to appear on tonight’s SmackDown to follow-up to Riddle’s challenge from RAW. It’s always possible that Reigns will make an appearance, but WWE removing him from the line-up is a good hint that he won’t. There’s also a possibility that Reigns cut a video promo to air on tonight’s SmackDown.

WWE had reportedly planned to air the Riddle vs. Reigns title bout on television, but it does not appear that this will happen this week. Randy Orton vs. Roman Reigns, at WWE SummerSlam, and Drew McIntyre vs. Reigns, at WWE Clash at The Castle, are still scheduled to take place.
