The current belief is that Matt Jackson is dealing with a legitimate injury and AEW is using the injury as part the Young Bucks’ storyline with FTR. Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com noted the following about what he heard:
“He [Matt] has a partially torn MCL and a thinning of the ACL which is considered a tear and that’s why he has the ankle injury.”
